Wait what!? That is how you get the Rabbit emblem? I've done all the gold chests on my Warlock and never got the Rabbit Emblem! ;_;

Get a Queen's Bounty from the Bounty Tracker and do it- this you can easily complete yourself.

Then you have a ticket- this ticket allows you select a Queen's Mission from the map on the left. The reward for this is a guaranteed legendary helm, chest, ship, or sniper rifle. You can do as many as there are bounties each day. However, the Mission is level 24- thus the need for the carrying.

edit: guys the blessings are emblems, not class items.

For Hawkmoon, I would:

  • Dismantle all my existing exotics and legendary gear and start from scratch
  • Be reset to level 1
  • Be forced to only use Hawkmoon for 20 hours and unable to swap weapons
  • Give the Cryptarch a foot massage
  • Solo 10 Nightfall Strikes
  • Never post here again

if anyone from Bungie is reading this, create your challenge, I can't imagine what I wouldn't accept. I need it. I care about little else.

I have in fact been saving unique-looking pieces juuuust in case it ever happens.

Time of decryption. It's honestly nothing like Diablo. They really screwed up in how the items are conveyed to the player.

...been lurking the entire time, but I think I'm going to have to pass this challenge along to the appropriate people in my life. Is Hawkian your XBL/PSN acct?

This happened to me in the raid. You apparently get the Chatterwhite shader guaranteed if you clear it for the first time. I didn't get it and was upset.

Fast forward a week later. I clear it again but still no shader. I end up going back to the Tower, leveling up Rahool's cruel ass, and I get mail. I check the postmaster and I get the legendary engrams from leveling him up, and I see the Chatterwhite is there as well.

I was happy.

wtf - I have just enough coins but already have boots, helmet and shotgun legendaries from blue engrams , not going to waste these coins, buy a auto rifle next week maybe....

I ended up buying mine when the vendor had it but everyone in my fireteam and others in my clan that I talked to all got it from a Golden Chest on the Moon. Did you, by chance, have all the Bungie.net code emblems redeemed and in your inventory at the time?
 
Got to cryptarch level 8, got legendary emgrams in the mail, decrypted a secondary weapon legendary emgram and pulled an exotic shotty!!! Universal Remote

I finished the raid last night and didn't get the shader, however I did in fact get a legendary speeder and icebreaker, so I guess I can't complain. Now to wait til next week.

i dont get bungie and how they pass out emblems as rewards(pvp with bungie) ... do people really care about these emblems? 25 motes of light for an emblem? wtf
 
Do stories happen to ever have coins as loot/rewards for your first time completing them? Need 3 more coins for Suros and still haven't done anything on Mars yet.

Tried that Summoning Pits Strike that you have to do to get Thorn. We really got destroyed, even though we were above the recommended level. My friends were frustrated after a while that they left.

Any pro tips if we try this again? Maybe we missed some optimal strategy.
 
I am level 29 Hunter and I have yet to complete a raid.

I would really love to get into a group that has completed it already or already has a system in place

Woah got my cryptarch to lvl 18. 2 legendary engrams and 2 blue. Both legendary ones actually turned out to be legendary items. I'm still in shock.

Yeah, was doing it for a bounty and saw the emblem thing so figured I'd give it a try. Definitely no improvement there, but will continue testing and hopefully people will figure out if there's anything at all to these emblems. Seems cruel to make them expensive and called "blessings" without having any effect.
 
Grrr anyone inviting me or friend requesting me sorry but my PSN will not allow me to act on either. Hell my PS button doesnt work with ease right now. WTF

Wow dude tell me why I'm soloing this week's nightfall at level 26 and I make it to the Nexus but these fucking minotaurs refuse to come out from behind the pillars so I can stay on the ledge.

EDIT: Just died. Finally got the minotaurs to come out and that's when the one who spawns up top finally decide to show up behind me. Could have killed him with rockets had I been on top of it but by the time I noticed the fucker he was already in his stupid teleport rush phase.

I really hate that Bungie doesn't have matchmaking for this. If anyone ever wants to do shit on the 360, let me know. I think I can't just keep soloing shit anymore.
 
Cheesed my way through the weekly strike, got 9 strange coins! Woot. :)

^I know what you mean. I had to burn a couple of them with my heavy machine gun in order to get the boss to spawn. It took awhile and I even got sniped once while fighting the boss on the ledge.

I had them all redeemed. Don't remember if I had them all in my bag at the time though. I might have. Would explain it. Wouldn't explain how I didn't get it on my Hunter though who only had like 3 emblems.

The normal Summoning Pits cheese works, where you all back off into the room you enter from and funnel all the enemies in. Eventually a shrieker spawns so you can back off into another room and keep slowly whittling away the enemies. It takes a pretty long time, though.

Definitely bring the appropriate element damage too. Solar for wizards and I think the Knights had Arc shields.
