Edit: If this is true about the speaker emblems having buffs, I almost wish they wouldn't mess with Rahool's decryption skills. A secret way to up his return rate is pretty cool.

I had one of the best time doing playlist strike with strangers this morning.
On dust palace, we somehow recreated this scene from Shaun of The Dead on the last standing Psion.

I was really intrigued by this this morning. It kind of made sense why would these emblems cost 7 motes of light and they are considered Legendary. So I bought the Blessing of IV. I did a few runs runs on the Moon and Venus as you can see from my Helium/Spirit Bloom counts. I did get a ton of extra drops it seemed. Almost every chest had a piece of armor it seemed but they were all green. So I am not sure if it is worth it or true. Hell at the same time my brother got a Legendary Engram ha. I would be interested in the Blessed one as well if rares have a greater chance of turning Legendary in the future (after next patch). Anyone else tried this?
Definitely go Sunsinger warlock. I'm a Titan and that will be my next character. Titans/warlocks are just too good in the raid.

That's not "what you get for rank 5." you just get a random reward every rank up, usually a legendary or one of the endgame currencies. i think it's tough to describe as not worth the effort since you can't really not advance in reputation over time. if you mean you did like 100 patrols just to hit rank 5 then you are certainly correct it wasn't worth that
I never said it's "what you get for rank 5" explicitly, I'm aware of how it works but that's the result of my rank up. As far as effort goes, I would have been better off wearing a mark for another faction and levelling them up instead to unlock the ability to purchase their gear than getting vanguard to rank 5 so yes, I still stand by my statement.

Can you get to level 30 with 1 exotic (helmet), 2 raid gear (boots and chest) and 1 regular legendary armor from a faction? Or you need all raid gear + exotic for level 30?

Hmm I do have the "blessing of iv"
Didn't see anything remarkable, I know earlier with the Queens emblem I opened a chest on the moon that gave me one purple emblem, one blue emblem, an extra 200 glimmer (it was 245, usually only 45), helium, and that "blue key", not really sure what that thing does but only have 5 of them in my inventory
(edit: the blue and purple engram turned into green feet and a token)

Why do the raid chests hate me so much? Somebody got the cool hunter cloak and the red death from the same chest. All I get are ascendant energy or shards, which I need.... but I want something I can use right now .
