I'm still baffled why there is no exotic bounty for the Suros Rifle. It seems weird.

Which weapons classes have no exotic bounties? The Sniper, the Auto
Rifle and the Scout Rifle? Correct?

I'm a Titan level 28 and rolled a new warlock sun singer today, they are really good and I wanted one to use some legendary gear I found before now for warlocks.
it's rather quick to do when you know the game and levels well now.
 
So I got Grim Citizen III off an engram and Doctor Nope off a Vanguard rank up. Their perks are okay, but I have a friend that has Perfect Balance on his Doctor Nope.

If you get weapons as drops (not purchased from vendors) are both perks entirely random? Is it possible to get Doctor Nope with both Perfect Balance and Persistence? Cause if so that would be insane.

I may be wrong but I think all exotic bounties involve some pop.

Same. I've attempted it three separate times this week, all with a different group, via GAF and elsewhere, all starting at different points. Never came close to finishing off the final boss. And with all the PSN trouble it isn't looking like I am any closer to completing it :(
 
I leveled up a new character in one night just by standing next to the cave farmers while they shoot for hours, i didn't have to shoot anything or be in their fireteam, i just stood there. It was really fast xp.

You don't see it because of lag compensation, but when you shoot a dude with a shotty in the face (can't get any closer) and he's not going down so you reflex melee him and yet he's not down and he's launching a titan strike that kills you and after his strike he's dying of your shotgun, a good full second, you are victim of lag but you never saw him jumping around the map because modern days hides that from you

I farm them right near the main spawn for the patrol. You go up the hill and there are all sorts of rooms that have hidden corners and alcoves. There are also plenty of caves to look in. You can find plenty of chests there with filaments and other goodies.

You made the right call. I got a Suros, and while it's great, it's not better enough over my Shadow Price to justify taking an exotic slot. Plus if you raid, you'll definitely want to use that Void damage auto rifle off Atheon. I have a good amount of buyers remorse. Seems like the health mechanic might be good for soloing though and pvp.

Yes, I was thinking that the *redacted* is a lot more important for my weapon exotic slot.

The upgrade is the best thing about the gun. Headshots. Will drop faster than any other auto rifle simply because it can nail headshots so much more reliably.

It's more like a Machine Gun.

Where do you get the Shadow Price AR again? That is from doing the Crucible right?
 
It's been a good 24 hours in my Destiny career. I hit light 26, decoded my first Exotic (The Armamentarian) from a Legendary Engram and received my first Exotic Bounty (Bad Juju).

All this before patch 1.02. RNGesus has finally favored me.
 
Something tells me Suros Regime is going to be better post patch when the game opens up a bit more on the battlefield. It's too versatile a gun: short range spray, long range rifling with increased damage, health vamp, exotic power.

You can buy Shadow Price anytime...

There is version you can get off the Crucible vendor, but I got a similar version with different bonus of faster reloads after kills from the first chest in the Vault of Glass. The weapon itself has a fantastic stability upgrade later down the line.
 
So I am about to the raid from the start with some of my old friends from high school

We may have around 3-4 people but we need 2 or 3 more.

Level 27's a prefered and we could use a sunsinger.

If PSN isn't fucked and people can send friend requests, send one to Sjay1994 with raid in the description

Might be the free PSN weekend. although I've been very frustrated by my team members in that mode as well. Tons of losers dropping out halfway during the match.
Hope that Bungie starts taking a firm stance on stuff that ruins others people's games and resets their profiles or something.

If you can, please add me on PS4: meppi64 as barely anyone on my FL ever plays PvP.
I prefer Control, but don't mind the other modes.

Oh and any timetable on the balancing in PvP?
Would really love to try out something different from an auto riffle without being auto-splattered on a wall. :(

Yeah this kinda sucks, and the end result is always that the new guys are basically told to "stay out of the way, go where we tell you" while the same three players do the portal stuff every time. It feels unfair locking them out during their first raid, but it's the only realistic way to get through without heading back to orbit and carefully explaining all mechanics, roles and potential strategies (which most groups won't make time for).

I got a hunters helmet through a legendary engram. I think it's called helm of the third man. Don't have a hunter though.

I was just looking up exotic auto rifles.

There are some really cool looking versions.

They've got this badass looking one with a bayonet called Monte Carlo.
