Too big.

My GS5 is basically perfect at 5.1", and I would on some days even be ok if it shrunk down to 5"

I will not buy a phone bigger than 5", ever.

I would say that a smaller Nexus is definitely not coming. They'll leave the Nexus 5 on sale, maybe.

The smaller Nexus this year really is the Moto X. Just wait for L to drop and that will... reach its final form, too.

I'm interested. I have been a Note 2 user for 20 months and love the large screen. I want larger on my next phone, so it's either Note 4 (expensive for me as I don't really use the pen much) or this.

5.9" would hav been hilarious to see though, I'm loving my 6 plus at 5.5" so maybe a 5.9" could work

Don't forget that the bezel above and below the screen on the iphone will likely be bigger than on the Nexus 6 so it might not be that much bigger overall than the 6+.

I feel like this is divine retribution for all the big phone lovers wanting bigger and bigger phones. It's funny to see people that love phablets pushing back against this.

I'm starting to wonder if Nexus 6 and Nexus X are two different phones. One 5.2 and one 6.

Why would the only shamu benchmarks in the wild show 5.2?

On one hand, a 5.9in screen on a phone just seems silly (unless there's like NO bezel what-so-ever)...

But on the other hand if it's basically a Moto X with a better battery, I'd be pretty interested! (assuming the bigger screen doesn't suck down that extra battery life).

Really need to wait an see the official details for this thing.

Welp, time to take a break from Android. I'm legit pissed that these screen size pissing contest continues to happen in this industry. I really sincerely hope that they at least, have two different form factors because I refuse to buy a fucking tablet.

If it's only 5.9" then that solidifies the iPhone 6 Plus as my next phone. 5.5" is my absolute max, and I was only willing to buy the iPhone at that size due to the OIS and battery. Anything bigger is too much.

I don't think can use the Nexus 6 name. I think the Philip K. Dick estate won't let them use the exact name.

Well that's just silly. The plus is bigger then the note 3, and that has a extra .2 of screen size. Why don't you try it first before you make a decision.

I have the 6+. It's huge because of the bezel (but I can still one hand it and my hands are not oversized).

There is a good chance the Nexus could still be smaller than the iPhone because of the differences in the bezel. Larger screened notes are smaller than the iPhone 6 plus.

My thoughts exactly. The original Moto X seemed to be setting the path for greatness but the size war and whatnot seems to have won by now.
