Yeah that's what I was thinking. I feel it's the combination of information we're giving out that may cause some apprehension. We're already posting our PSN IDs and country/region in a Google Doc; some of us may have more personal information in our profiles as well. Adding age to that could be a bit too much.

Well the plushes are usually like $20 and figures are $50+, and not too much of the stuff I like gets figures (and/or they're older games so the figures are ancient, hard to find and extremely expensive). Or they're like the Metal Gear Ray statue and new but ridiculously expensive.

You dodged a bullet. Actually that's not quite accurate. The sound of gunfire would provide some entertainment for a millisecond before you die. Don't Starve doesn't have the luxury of that millisecond of entertainment. I need another analogy to accurately explain how boring Don't Starve is. Can't think of one right now.
 
So does no one here keep a JP PS+ account in addition to their regular nonJP account? Are there still tons of PSX games on JP PS+ or was that a one time thing that's gone?

My main PS+ is JPN and yes, they still give out lots of PS1 titles, too many that they are rampaging my download list. Most I have never played since I have too many games in my backlog.

Well actually (NSFW ish). Though that's more videos than a "standard" video it's not one of my highest viewed ones either. Success is, frankly, mostly random. Which is really why I need to keep a steady pace.

So, i'll be getting my PS4 later next week. Currently I have a PS3.
I was browsing the PS Store on my PC right now and I saw that Assassin's Creed: Freedom Cry (the standalone one) is on sale right now.

My question is: Can I buy it now via browser and then download it when I get my PS4? Or can I only buy a game for the console if I own the console?

Just buy in the online store, you can download it later. It'll already be in your Library section on PS4 after you set it up, actually.

Just saw your impressions video of race the sun (that is coming to the vita) and I liked the tone of the video (I don´t think that the game is for me though) so you just got yourself another subscriber :)

Glad you enjoyed! The Velocity 2X video is pretty good IMO, I Think I should do more games where I thoroughly understand the game first. I usually do first impressions but I think I need to branch out. Haven't been feeling much motivation.

I did review the Vita version of Velocity 2X (as a minor suplement to the PS4 version) but it wasn't a focus both because I played on PS4 mostly and because I had no way to record it anyway. The Vita actually controls better in that one though. How did I not notice telepod throwing could use the touch screen.

It´s sad that people can't be them selves on the internet, personally I´ve been through IRC,ICQ, MSN all kinds of communitys and I´m getting tired of the internet forcing me to be John Doe. But that is the way things are (like 1984 in reverse).

Weird, I tried to add funds to my Wallet but it was unsuccessful. Probably because the address from my PSN Account doesn't match my Credit Card address.
So I'll need to buy a $10 card to add to my wallet, but I'll only be able to get it tomorrow. Tried to get it on Amazon, but it's not availablefr purchase for people outside USA.

Until when will this discount on PSN be available?

Just use Amazon.com
Use a random US billing address like Googe California's and you are set, use the same billing address on your US PSN account too as long as it won't charge you tax when you check out.

Buy US PSN cash codes from Amazon.com using the method above.
That's how I've ben doing it for over a year.

I just dropped a little under $250 on
Sonic Racing Transformed Retail for Vita
VLR Retail for Vita
Wipeout 2048 retail for Vita
Persona 4 Ultimax
2 TB External hard disk 3.0 USB+Pouch

The latter is just for my own stuff but now I can save around 3 GB on my Vita for other games...like the Namco Mueum games~
 
I wish Sony would patch the 10 page limitation on the Vita, because I managed to run out of space. And I don't like folders because you can't customize their background. I prefer to use backgrounds to classify my stuff.

It's one scene and they've long since stopped doing that, probably since that (best I can tell) got Mk2 an M rating (and who knows what in Japan) while the others are T

they probably won't/can't because they need to keep page switching buttery smooth... preloading and caching all those thumbnails isn't a huge resource drain, but it adds up when you're working with very limited ram (since there's a lot devoted to being able to switch apps quickly, suspending a game, etc).

I wish folders had background images too (even if it just reused the image from the parent page) but again, that would likely be too resource intensive.
