I was under the impression that the rate of fire would be a liability in vanilla Crucible since the damage is evened out. I've been using my Shingen-E. I might have to break out the Regime now, lol.

Suros Regime is great at medium range ADS as long you aim for the head. Not good up close unless the other player has bad aim.

By the way, completing crucible bounties is just as likely to get you an exotic missive as vanguard and I assume completing only one at a time does not decrease your chances, but you will obviously get one roll per completed bounty.

Yup, and it will tell you when he's going to refresh. Select the tower from the menu, and you can see every seller in there and look at their items.

This Thorn bounty of getting void kills feels impossible with a hunter. The only secondary void weapon I have is a sniper (which I suck at) and I don't get the heavy ammo often enough.

The highest I got was 22/500, but now it's down all the way to 4/500.

I think when the event opens, there should be a warning for ALL players that the Iron Banner will be unbalanced to the point of being broken

I am a level 24 hunter, and all I get are useless rare drops. I am rank 1 on vanguard and crucible, so I cannot purchase any armor that will increase my light level.

The amount of boring and repetitive grinding I would have to do to rank up my vanguard and/or crucible just isn't worth it to me.

You're not missing anything, the map has an awesome skybox but it sucks hard IMO.

Just do bounty patrol chest public event runs all in one. Do the daily story and hit the weekly when u are high enough. Hope your playing with people...only fun way

I just did this! It was mind-numbing, but I am now level 27 and the grind doesn't go away. Now I'm after shards.

I have a fully upgraded, Suros, Gjallarhorn and soon Pocket Infinity. Maybe these guys with raid gear suck at PvP. I'll take my chances.

The Suro has single handly ruined this games PvP for me. Regular Assault rifles were bad enough.

I play better with Shadow Price and Pocket Infinity than Suros.

Grim Citizen III is what I would recommend. Shadow Price is better imo, but you said Crucible only.

Oh yeah and one thing I keep forgetting.
Matchmaking for more stuff would be nice, but....
We also need the option to opt out of matchmaking. I can solo strikes. Sometimes I'd rather not be a dick and kill the bounty myself. However, if there is a bounty you can bet your ass I will be Gjallarhorning the boss and taking the final kill myself.

It really depends. For me I am used Crucible marks on 77 Wizard because I desperately needed a strong special weapon with void damage. I really like the idea of making your first purchases to shore up areas of weakness. I now have solid specials and heavies with every damage type for the weeklies and the raid.

For PvP people like Shadow Price. It's my solid second to Suros when I want to run around with Pocket Infinity.

Just completed the raid today and god damn was that fun. Came out with a chest, the ship, and various mats. A little bummed i didn't get the shader, but I from what i understand, its usually one or the other (shader / ship) and I'm happy with the ship.

Can't wait for raid reset on Tuesday so I can jump back in and try my luck again.

Also, I got the Shadow Price from the nightfall today, which would have been amazing had I not bought the Vanquisher last week...

Just casually pvp and do bounties for a few days. That will open it up.

I need that Atheon rifle. Until I get that not doing the Thorn bounty. I can use fusion rifles, but not as my main weapon. I suck with shotguns right now.

I got the ship my first week also and then the chatterwhite the next week. You'll probably get it next week. I believe 5 people get the chatterwhite while the 6th person gets the ship or sparrow. You were the lucky 6th person. Congrats!
