The only reason I didn't like everyone having it was because they bought it. I hate that we can buy exotics. Everyone running around with knuckle radar and suros which I got those two on the same day. And no I don't care that they can now use the gun to kill me. I'm still rekting everyone and those who use it.
Nearly impossible with projectile spam. I think Bungie overdid it on some.

I've got the Pocket Infinity bounty and have been watching the gunsmith for nearly a week, even tracking him while at work on the app. The only time I saw fusion rifles come up was on Friday night. And I only had glimmer enough to buy 5 of them.
Yeah, I missed that window on Friday unfortunately. I'm intentionally keeping myself at around 20k glimmer to make sure I have enough for whenever he sells them again.
Bung ain't stupid. They know to crank the difficulty way up BC shit will be cheesed.
Oh yeah and one thing I keep forgetting.
Matchmaking for more stuff would be nice, but....
We also need the option to opt out of matchmaking. I can solo strikes. Sometimes I'd rather not be a dick and kill the bounty myself. However, if there is a bounty you can bet your ass I will be Gjallarhorning the boss and taking the final kill myself.
For PvP people like Shadow Price. It's my solid second to Suros when I want to run around with Pocket Infinity.

It really depends. For me I am used Crucible marks on 77 Wizard because I desperately needed a strong special weapon with void damage. I really like the idea of making your first purchases to shore up areas of weakness. I now have solid specials and heavies with every damage type for the weeklies and the raid.

True, but I really think shotguns and the (mostly) one on one encounters of rumble are the easiest way to go. Just keep an eye on the radar, pick your spots, don't run around corners, and it's pretty easy to find a good groove.

Put the gear you grinded for to good use.
I mean, the mode is made for people who play a lot. If you aren't prepped you shouldn't enter.

I did hop on for a bit on Friday and try my hand at the Xur engram lottery. Got a helm for a hunter which is the only class I really don't want to play. But the extra shards got me to 29, which was cool. So at least I made some progress on my character even though I wasn't on much.

been saving up for like 2 weeks and finally almost have enough for a Shadow Price and it drops in an engram two days ago (then i get Grim Citizen today!)
no idea what to spend these Vanguard points on now...
My problem with Iron Banner way early WOW had the same problem is that the best gear in the game for PVP is available exclusively though PVE. (I appreciate that people that prefer PVE have similar complaints re. the Tower factions, but you can at least get faction reputation via patrols and marks via material turn-ins.) I play PVP almost exclusively and it's galling to know that I'll be destroyed by raiders in Iron Banner, and it won't (necessarily) be due to a skill or communication difference.

I have no idea why you would be upset. If a mode isn't for you...don't play you. You already seem to do that for pve
Come back to me when the number of people who have it exceeds 1%. Right now on PS4, .1% of the player base beat the raid on hard mode and less than that actually have the Mythocast. Does it suck that you get easily killed by it? Sure. But its so rare that its not worth complaining over.

I would take less of an issue with this if the Iron Banner rewards raid quality gear. I'm assuming that won't be the case.
Maybe that will come from the Trials of Osiris?

Woah, wait, what? There's a map in the Crucible on Mercury? I've played 40+ rounds and I've never seen it before.

Only available on smaller scale modes like Rumble and Skirmish.
It has the most beautiful and daunting skybox.
Are some of the maps on Skirmish different than on other modes in the Crucible? I just played a map on Skirmish for the first time ever but I don't play Skirmish that often...It was a map like the inside of a temple with a rotating circular doorway with a beam of light going through it.
