lol, it's not actually too hard to understand. Just seems weird if you aren't familiar with stuff that's been happening in part 2 of the series.
Good on the series ending. Part 2 has been messy but at least it's had a goal to work towards. That's probably what I enjoy about it despite the flaws. Bleach has a simple goal and lacks everything else and One Piece has everything else but lacks a real goal making either hard to enjoy in the long term for me.
They've actually talked about what it means to be Hokage in the series a number of times. I wouldn't be surprised if Naruto didn't become Hokage but it would be kind of sad if he didn't.

Naruto has made very little sense collectively ever since Sharingan powers became the default magic behind every single plot twist ever made. It's like ninjas don't need anything else because BAM eye powers did it.

It really is the end of an era. I've been following this series since 2005 and then around 2007 decided to just stick to the manga although occasionally I do watch the Anime still atleast once a month.
It's going to feel weird not having a weekly chapter when that's been the one constant over the last several years.
Well atleast the Anime will still be ongoing for maybe another year or so.

I'd be most happy if it ended like that. I don't think it will at this point, I almost feel like it's going to be a bitter sweet ending. We are not going to know what will happen to everyone.
Having stopped reading the manga looong ago, some if these summaries sound absolutely crazy. Kind of glad I stopped reading the manga.
At this point I think I will rerun the anime of the pre-timeskip phase, where Naruto was actually still kind of cool.
However, this finally ending makes me feel really really old. It's been a part of my childhood and it always seem centuries away that we would see a conclusion to everything.

the fact that this took so long and it became so convoluted with a m night shaymalan twist every 2 summaries i read every 2 lines, makes me think that he just needed the money to have his own private hareem of naked people
I lost touch with Naruto at around the point Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 finishes off as well, so around the time of the war kicking up.
I recently checked out a few of the latest chapters and I'm glad it's coming to an end. The plot seems to have just completely jumped the shark by this point.
I'm sure I heard rumours Bleach was in its final arc as well. I lost touch with that around the start of the Hueco Mundo arc, and again I recently checked out a few chapters to be greeted by an incredibly foul mouthed gender confused boy who apparently stinks of cum.

Tsunade will remain Hokage. Kakashi will be the next Hokage. No way on earth Part 2 ends with Naruto as the Hokage.

I would actually like Sakura to realize how shitty Sasuke has treated her over the course of the series and detach herself from his shit. It'd be a great example for any kid that has followed their story.
In the case of hinata, i want her to achieve his dream of being happy with Naruto. She deserves it. She's been really brave and really strong.
I'd be happy if Hinata and Naruto are really close with obvious hints of romance by the end of the saga. Right now, a fully romantic relationship would be really forced.

The war arc is its own minefield of fillers. My favorite being one that I'm fairly sure has a character who 50 episodes later we find out has been dead, for years. I'm thinking of (character name and appearance)
Rin, an adult version was in one of the mist swordsmen fillers. Either that or someone with similar appearance and name.
I wonder if they every threatened to fire/leave/not buy his stuff
