2014-15 TV Cancellations: Under the Dome canned, what will CBS do with CG cows next?

The Mindy Project is actually very funny. Season 1 was a mess but season 2 was great and so far season 3 is keeping it going. It has surpassed New Girl in terms of humorous entertainment.

After catching up on it last year, I was suprised at how enjoyable TMP is. Too bad it can't compete with TUESDAY'S NUMBER ONE COMEDY SELFIE.

Mulaney shouldn't have made it to air. No concept, no characters, and some very poor translations of his standup jokes.

Continuum? Maybe...? :(
It better NOT be cancelled, that needs at least one more season to wrap it up.

Simon Barry hasn't mentioned anything so I doubt it. :(
FFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU------
:((((

i'm no hollywood big shot, but he didn't say it was a show that you want renewed; it's almost certainly some utter trash defying expectation and living on.
Stop being so reasonable and probably correct :P

btw, I wasn't talking about Twin Peaks.
Year of Penny returns! :D
Shhh I know it ain't happening ;_;

WHAT IS IT.

I don't really know if The Tick is "in limbo with Amazon" so much as it's "currently in the pilot stage at Amazon".

I didn't realize Amazon already ordered a pilot episode. I thought they were still in talks with Patrick Warburton to reprise his role. That's awesome. Gaf better stuff the ballots boxes for this show.

- EW: IFC renews 'The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret'
IFC has picked up a six-episode third season of David Cross’ The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret, EW has learned exclusively.

Created, co-written by, and starring the Arrested Development veteran, the London-set comedy will pick up in season three where season two left off back in early 2012.

The cast—which has included Will Arnett, Blake Harrison, and Spike Jonze—is still being finalized, but Sharon Horgan is among the series regulars confirmed to be returning. Writing recently began on season three and those new episodes will debut sometime next year.
Given how it ended, I'm not sure how they're just going to pick up where it left off, but I'm up for a few more episodes.

- Deadline: ‘Walking Dead’ Renewed For Season 6 By AMC
AMC said today it has renewed its record-breaking hit The Walking Dead for a sixth season. The news comes as Season 5 of the zombie drama premieres this Sunday at 9 PM ET/PT. Scott Gimple will return as the series’ showrunner/executive producer along with executive producers Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert, Greg Nicotero and Tom Luse.

AMC also recently announced that it has ordered a pilot for a potential companion series based on a new story and new characters from Kirkman.

Well, I doubt the surprise show resurrection will be Revolution...with Stephen Collins' admission. Yikes. Can you give us a hint on timeline, Ivy?

- Full set of Monday ratings from TVbtN
On NBC, The Voice earned a 3.6, down four tenths from last week's 4.0 adults 18-49 rating. The Blacklist scored a 2.7, down a single tenth from last week's 2.8 adults 18-49 rating.

On CBS, The Big Bang Theory garnered a 4.4, down four tenths from last week's 4.8 adults 18-49 rating. Scorpion notched a 2.5, down six tenths from last week's 3.1 adults 18-49 rating. NCIS: Los Angeles earned a 1.6, down three tenths from last week's 1.9 adults 18-49 rating.

On FOX, Gotham scored a 2.5, down three tenths from last week's 2.8 adults 18-49 rating. Sleepy Hollow matched last week's 1.7 adults 18-49 rating.

On ABC, Dancing with the Stars matched last week's 1.8 adults 18-49 rating. Castle garnered a 1.9, down three tenths from last week's 2.2 adults 18-49 rating.

On The CW, the second season premiere of The Originals earned a 0.7 down from the 1.0 the series premiere earned last year and the 0.8 the season one finale earned.

He allegedly confessed to child molestation on tape.

Is that good for Gotham and Sleepy Hollow?

It's not bad at all for either one, especially considering FOX's troubles in general. Gotham seems to be doing just fine considering it's facing off against The Voice and The Big Bang Theory.

This is the one thing people have to take in to account when wondering if the ratings are good or not. You need to compare them to other show's ratings that are on the same Network, because a Network can't cancel everything. A 2.5 for a FOX show is good, considering that other shows on FOX struggle to get past 2.0.

Gotham is Fox's best performer by significant margin, it's not going anywhere.

L+3 Thursday 10/2
Murder 5.3 (less than a 10% drop from the premiere, pretty outstanding)
Scandal 4.7
Greys 3.9

Makes me wonder if HTGAWM could pull a 4.0 at 9PM

Whoa I thought for sure it was Twin Peaks. Is it...How I Met Your Father?

That's a really good guess, actually… IIRC CBS didn't like the pilot, but from what I read I had the impression that they would give it another chance if someone ironed the kinks out.

It has to be the show ivy was referring to.

It's The Client List. Ivy works in the same office as that used to.

Edit: everyone go watch the Affair. Ruth Wilson is going to be a star. Goddam. She pulled that waitress outfit off better than Katharine McPhee. This season, this season.....

not surprised Castle is down, that premiere was awful
