Will veto be an option in the in Halo 2 playlists? It shouldn't be.
 
thank god for no H4 in team slayer.

If that isn't an outright admission of complete and total failure, I don't know what is.
 
It's weird how I've played so much Halo 2 and Halo 3 yet I can't for the life of me remember the playlists or modes I used to play or anything like that.

Looking forward to this though.
 
Seems like a great start, I knew it couldn't be like 50 different playlists because it'd fragment the user base too much, but I've always wished there were more emphasis on CTF in Halo matchmaking as it's my favorite game type across every entry in the series.

Definitely hoping GAF can pull together a solid custom games community -- Will be needing some Shotty/Sniper CTF on Hang Em High.
 
I'm definitely looking forward to Big Team Battle. It played like Crap in Halo 2 because of no dedicated servers. But now, in the age of Dedicated servers I think it will be really, really fun.

Here's my guess. Hardcore will be for people who are into MLG/eSports settings in general. No radar, a more limited sandbox, maybe 110% movement speed in Halo 3, etc. Then the eSports list will be specifically for actual map/gametype combos that will be in actual Halo tournaments.

These multiplayer shooters always dwindle down to small groups and eventually make the games impossible to play certain game types.
 
I'd honestly love to organize a CTF and Assault playlist for GAF. Rotate only the best maps; emphasis on teamwork and large battles (8v8). Lots of vehicles.

Are we going to make a custom games thread closer to release?
 
I'm surprised excited for this collection.

I'm surprised they don't have a "find me a match, any match" button. That would be awesome. Seems like it would be easy to do as well.

Here's the deal - all I want is BTB Objective. Really, if it were me, I'd choose to have 1-Bomb Assault and 1-Flag CTF on Headlong and Zanzibar all day, e'ry day. But I know that's never going to happen.

So a dedicated BTB Objective would be nice; but I know even that's too greedy.

But hell... 4 player, 8 player, 16 player... and I don't even care if they rotate the games as much as I'd prefer to stick with just H2. But please, why can't we get an objective-only playlist?

I know it's just a game, but that seriously depresses me.

You might think that, based on your awareness of this series, that it's a thing they may add to the playlists as demand arises.

Good list, Should be fun. Halo 2 is my most played online game. I can not wait for this. Put it on XBL for preloading...take my money!

Hopefully 343 will be attentive and responsive and will manage the playlists well as interest / population shifts.

I effing love BTB CTF/Assault. We should definitely get customs going on a regular basis. I don't see the point of having a separate thread for that, though. Just post in the MCC thread that everyone will already be reading. :-)

Worse than all games of course, it's the worst game ever naturally

Awesome playlists btw, a few things missin but overall they covered some solid ground.
 
So excited for this. I just hope I have enough people that I know to actually play with. So tired of going into games alone.

Also I hope they plan on giving us some DLC for H2A, these maps are so beautiful we need another 6-8 to cover more.

If you have an iOS, modern android or windows 8 tablet/pc you can use those devices to run smartglass and just press a button to grab a minutes worth of video.

Hopefully whoever makes the MCC OT will also make a Google Docs spreadsheet for people to submit their GAF name and gamertag. You could have dozens of people on your friends list before the game even launches. :-)

You can still double tap home and press x. I love the Kinect function. Make sure to get this clips.
