Gemma Simmons crossing paths with Khamala Khan in Mark Waid's S.H.I.E.L.D. #2 in January...god this is the kinda stuff I'd love to see happen in the show.

As of this evening, here are the 18-49 ratings for the most recent episodes of each scripted show on ABC (dramas are in bold):

Modern Family 3.4
Scandal 2.9
How to Get Away With Murder 2.8
Once Upon a Time 2.7

black-ish 2.5
Grey's Anatomy 2.4
The Goldbergs 2.2 (from the previous week — a Halloween cartoon aired in its place)
The Middle 2.0 (from the previous week — a Halloween cartoon aired in its place)
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. 1.7
Castle 1.5
Resurrection 1.4

Last Man Standing 1.3
Nashville 1.3
Revenge 1.3

Cristela 1.2
Forever 1.1
Selfie 1.0
Manhattan Love Story 0.9

SHIELD has overtaken Castle, which I find a bit stunning. This show is now firmly in the middle of ABC's drama lineup — five dramas are rated higher than SHIELD and five dramas are rated lower than it. If that stays true for the rest of the season, I think SHIELD has a really good chance of being renewed. Because of syndication economics, that means this show will stay on the air probably until May 2017 as long as it never pulls something ridiculously low like a 0.5 over the next 2 1/2 years.

SHIELD is definitely getting renewed.

Also just got an Email from Mahvel saying to stay tuned after today's episode for a special announcement :O

"marvel special airing November 4th!"

it's probably something to do with Agent Carter

I believe it's the 75th Anniversary Special that will be airing on the 4th.
Has to do with Marvel from the beginning to the cultural success story they are today.

ABC will be airing a new primetime Marvel documentary that takes a look back at the company behind the biggest film franchise of all time on Tuesday, November 4th at 9pm ET (filling in for Agents of SHIELD that week).

Per Marvel.com, the hour-long “Marvel: From Pulp to Pop” will be hosted by actress Emily VanCamp, who stars on ABC's Revenge and played Agent 13/Sharon Carter in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

The doc will explore 75 years of Marvel Comics, from its genesis in 1939 through to today's box office success, and feature exclusive interviews. It will also offer up a "extraordinary peek into Marvel's future."

I originally posted about it in the "biggest Marvel news of the year" thread, before we knew what it was, but I believe it was overlooked.

Hah, totally missed that. Also, hosted by Emily VanCamp?
Man that gives me hope that they finally cancel Revenge and move her full time to the MCU
I'm surprised Cobie hasn't since HIMYM has finished already >:(

Why would the announcement be of a special that was announced two weeks ago?

It's probably nothing big, though. Well, more like almost certainly.

You can't beat Disney princesses and Shonda Rhimes. You only hope to survive.

the only aliens that the MCU own are Kree though right?
