It depends on where they want the MCU to go. I don't think they're going to bring SHIELD back anytime soon just because they want the Avengers to be the only people capable of handling these big threats.

If they were to reintroduce Coulson back it'd have to be in a movie and he'd have to be integral to the plot in some way, because the movie is going to come to halt to having to explain to people how he's alive to movie viewers and the cast has to have their appropriate reactions. (Either that or they just add a subtitle "Watch the first season of Agents of SHIELD, true believers!")

Maybe that will be part of the plot of a BW/HG movie. Re-establishing SHIELD, Fury bringing Coulson back into the fold and introducing him to SWORD.

I seriously doubt they would kill Coulson back off again, at least not anytime soon (not before A3 or s05).

Only thing that gets me is the idea they Raina thinks shield is pussy. Like the whole idea that Coulson would just meet her and not threaten to kill her since her pervious actions mean there is moral justification.

That just got to me. Like yo that 2 min timer is on your life. If Simmons dies so do you.

SHIELD is hurting and Coulson has changed but no so far as to just immediately kill anyone who threatens them. What is left of SHIELD is still pretty much Lawful Good in alignment.

She did more than just threaten him previously tho. I mean she totally fucked with him hard core before.

Yes she did, but enough to make him kill her and only her? While others who have threatened death or outright killed allies and innocents only get apprehended? Coulson is Lawful Good and while he may leverage enemies like he did in this episode, he's not going to outright kill for vengeance. Not unless it's in reaction to a world shattering action.

The AVClub review brought this up: imagine having Bobbi and Simmons both undercover looking out for each other. Brains and brawn, lab geek and security expert, and enough subtle flirting to send the shippers into a frenzy.

I wanted them and Trip to be the whole show.

I don't think Mockingbird and Simmons can balance out how boring that would be.
I don't get this new criticism with Trip I mean he's not a bad actor and he brought some much needed charisma to the team toward the end of Season 1, it's not his fault the writers are giving his character jack shit to do.

This show is ona fucking roll, the episode was awesome, Bobbi, Raina, Kyle MacLachlan, shit everyone was excellent, and they aren't dragging the plots forever :D
Also they are totally setting up Fitz and Mack together, and loved Simmons totally fangirling over Bobbi.
Now I can't decide between #TeamBobbimmons or #TeamSkimmons :(

Season 1 of AoS was better then either season of Arrow (︶︹︺)
With regards to each 1st season, I'd say that AoS highs are higher than Arrow but its lows are lower. Arrow is more consistent throughout and it improves when they drop the capitalist of the week thing.
Arrow S2 was great fun though, my only true issue with it is
that Slade's motivation for everything is really stupid.

She's already married, with kids if I recall.
:O
I do wonder what kind of black magic she's using to look like she does.

-This show is awesome. Everything is awesome.
Thanks, now I got the Lego Movie song stuck in my head :(

For the marquee ABC show the Shield ratings are pathetic. I don't think anyone can deny that. Even in the target audience it still ranks third or fourth on a weekly basis. Luckily its safe for the season unless it has a drastic drop. I still think a reschedule to Fridays might be possible.
AoS is not a Shonday show, ergo not marquee. It doesn't even fit with ABC general audience even.

Is there any reason Clark Gregg would want to leave the show?

Is there any reason why ABC/Disney would want him gone?

I can't see it being beneficial to anyone.
Exactly.

... and I've -still- not seen The Incredible Hulk nor Thor: TDW.
You are not missing much, although TDW
is about an infinity stone, and we get to see Frigga being a badass

Finally watched the last episode, was a good one... Just think Adrienne Palicki could've been Wonder Woman if the pilot didn't suck.

Really do hope they don't drag out Skye learning of her origins much longer though, hopefully it'll be a mid-season finale thing or something.

I get the feeling they aren't. The season feels more purposeful, instead of the forced meandering they went through before CA:TWS

The feels.

This season is like night and day from the last one and I still enjoyed last season. These seem much more like real people, last season there was very little depth to their characters until the very end.

It's funny because Flash is giving me the same vibes as AoS from last season, it's fun but really......I don't know the best term, lightweight and shallow? Not that every super hero show needs to be dark and grim, just needs to have a sense of real characters, even if they are in completely unrealistic settings and situations.

I sure as hell hope this doesn't happen, but I could see some suit-and-tie imbecile at ABC thinking the show would be more appealing with "younger and hipper" stars front and center instead of Coulson. Bad move, if it happens. Coulson is the reason I stuck with the show through the very bad first half of Season 1, and he's still one of the main reasons I tune in now.

- Deadline: Lyndsy Fonseca Joins ‘Marvel’s Agent Carter’.
Nikita alum Lyndsy Fonseca has landed a recurring role opposite Hayley Atwell and Shea Whigham on ABC’s Marvel’s Agent Carter.

This new Bobbi character is an Avenger yea? Is it likely she will be in AoU, even if it's just a cameo maybe?

Holy shit, so we actually are still getting something new with AoS.

Sounds more like we might get a short clip/scene than an actual trailer?

Mockingbird is definitely not in AoU. There are confirmed cameos appearances from James Rhodes (War Machine), Sam Wilson (Falcon) and SHIELD Agent Antoine Triplett.

But Palacki said when she was in discussions with Marvel, there was the possibility of Mockingbird appearing in movie(s). In the comics, she and Hawkeye were married for a time.

Am I the only one who thinks this leak may end up working in Marvel's FAVOR rather than the opposite when the trailer initially leaked?

Their copy of the trailer is approaching 30m views, I think it's already worked in their favour. They were very smart to just shrug it off and put it out early instead of chasing down leakers or whatever.

Yeah, and since they didn't put in the ComicCon extra scene, it lets them (likely) use it for AoS.

Totally agree about the character writing. The interaction is so much better this year and they finally seem like layered people.
