It's Marvel. They're playing the multi-decade plan. I'd place it during Infinity Wars. It'll be quite the cliffhanger or redemption moment. It'll be amazing for that.

If the movie is actually the same as that clip, where the only acknowledgement is Thors half second expression change then its Ultron. If everybody makes a big deal about him moving it slightly and that part was just cut from the preview then I agree with you.

ITT: gaf has a very hard time telling middle-aged white adult males apart.

Damnit, looks like Ward will get his redemption arc, ugh. But his brother was the liar, I bet. I just didn't thought that Coulson would buy it so easily, he let his emotions cloud his judgement, and that's a very bad mistake.

I'm not so sure about either of those. I feel like Coulson's on his Don't Trust Anybody vibe now, so I think he's playing both the Wards against each other. I can't imagine he put Grant into those cuffs not knowing the dude knows and is willing to break his own thumb to get out.

Fuck, that.

I kind of want Ward to fuck some shit up. Help them sometimes, fuck their shit up other times.

Yup, I full on #TeamWard

Yes, I understand that he might've been playing both of them, but I'm not sure that Coulson is all right now, I think that they maybe, just a little chance, might be willing to credit this to his problem with the GH serum. And about the older brother, there might be something more in there that we'll only discover later on, but I really think that he is worse than Grant.

I like Ward too, but I just think that a redemption arc would be bad. He should be neutral, playing both sides, like you said.

Could be that the serum is having an effect on his judgement. Hard to tell atm though. And I agree about Senator Ward. I think he's going to replace Talbot as SHIELD's Gov't antagonist.

I hope too that they keep him as somebody from the government, and don't turn him intro Hydra later on. That would be so bad.

Or even better, give him some depth and have him play both SHIELD and HYDRA for his own gain.

And then, SHIELD nor Hydra off him.

It's his brother who stops him.

Well, now that Ward's out of the bag... Taskmaster?

This would be the time to do it. I mean, everyone's made it clear that they won't ever trust Ward again, but maybe they'll trust the mysterious and helpful stranger in the skull mask.

Good episode but what's worse than Ward? 2 Wards. Also, that Bobbi action.

Also, did Hawkguys name get dropped during the beginning of the episode?

/
You are not worthy.

Yup and by Bobbi too, which seems like a weird nod/reference to make considering.

I realize I didn't really comment on the episode but I loved it. Pacing and action were great and it seems like they either got a much better fight choreographer or he or she is finally getting what they need to bring to the table for this kind of show. Still a couple of awkward spots but that's probably more due to direction/editing but much better than S1 still.

Skye becoming more May-like is awesome. I really hope they give Chloe Bennett the "Arrow" training treatment though so she can get in on some of the hand to hand fight scenes. May and Skye tag team fight scene would be awesome.

I must have missed it, when did they Make the hawkeye reference?

Also, I am assuming the guy who got the tattoos is the same guy who set the church on fire and wrote on the back of the painting. Who that is I have no idea.

When Bobbi was telling Coulson about Whiplash. She said something along the lines of "He nearly killed Barton in ____"

Damn... this show just keeps getting better as the ratings slide. Aside from some of the fight scenes feeling a little slow and Buffyish, that was a spectacular piece of TV.

edit: I need to expand on what I meant about the fight scenes. The May fight again'st Dr. ChainKnife was awesome. The Bobbi and Hunter fight, felt like a Buffy fight.
