I feel Garrett was a wasted opportunity. Should have let him live into season 2, but I guess Ward will be filling that void along with Skye's father and the other guy whose name I can never seem to remember.

She's also in About a Boy but I don't think her character will continue on that show very long.. so she could possibly become a regular on AoS. At the least she wouldn't have scheduling problems I think.

At this point it seems like they've put Lance in Hawkeye's place in terms of the relationship. One of the reviewers of last nights ep even compared the banter between the characters as being similar to the banter Hawkeye and Mockingbird have in the comics. So I don't think they'll make them a thing in the MCU.

I think it would be pretty neat if they turned Ward into Taskmaster. I doubt the latter is going to play any major role in the MCU movie-verse.
Also, I think it would be fine to introduce the idea of super-powered people in AoS and have a movie specifically about the Royal Family and Attilan.
There've just been way too many hints towards Skye being involved with the Kree in some way, and Coulson's crazy writing being alien, the obelisk i.e. the Terrigen crystal being key to convincing her. Even little nods like the wedding massacre, where the best man talks about how "the world is full of people seeking change, hoping to become something else, something better."
Raina isn't going to be Skye's sister either, so whatever empowers and/or protects her father from the obelisk clearly isn't limited to them.

Wonder if they'll have Ward get powered up too in some way. Since Taskmaster isn't just a dude who's really good at fighting, so I don't completely buy into that theory (yet).

Srsly, Mockingbird is the best. This season is firing on all cylinders.
She was injected with Kree blood to save her life, and it isn't having the same effect on her as Coulson and Garrett.

They aren't necessarily hints at her being Kree, but there are hints at her being different in some way such that the injection of the (Kree-derived) GH325 serum that saved her from near death didn't affect her in the same way as Garrett or Coulson.
The Inhuman theory stems from them being the result of Kree experimentation on protohumans, with it being established in the comic continuity that there were/are unactivated Inhuman descendants amongst regular humans.
