I checked back two years of download history and these were the only two that removed the expiration date.

Interesting that it actually said on the description that you could keep them forever. Otherwise it would more than likely have been a mistake.
Thst happens to cross-buy games that are released later.
Hotline Miami was on Plus, then on PS4 this year.
Don't Starve was on Plus, then on Vita this year.
When you "bought" the recent releases, since those were free to owners of the other versions; it removed the expiration dates of the Plus purchase.

I think the collection is normally updated before 6pm. Assuming BoI is actually coming and they haven't fixed the thingy. But I fear BoI is delayed as it was missing from the blog's list of games releasing today.

I can't always tell the differnce between what I bought, and what was PS+, but here are some definate PS+ games that I just found removed the license date::

I searched for Escape Plan and it's there for free (EU/Germany). And yep, no expiration date. Same for Spelunky which I got last month.
Yes just searching here on Vita.
I've downloaded Escape Plan, Luftrausers, Steamworld Dig and The Hungry Horde. Just waiting on Isaac now.

Indeed. My PS+ subscription is basically for multiplayer and cloud saves, the games are just an added bonus. TBH some months I could do without them as my backlog is HUGE.

I don't understand how games being tied to subs was ever a thing that didn't draw more criticism.
If I'm paying for a sub and choose to quit subbing or something I shouldn't have to return the things I got when I was subbing. I shouldn't continue to get the benefits, but I also shouldn't have the things I got taken away. I'd be okay with there being fewer offerings in exchange for keeping the games. I myself would rather be offered to own fewer gnaws a year than play several games a year only for a limited time. But that's because I replay games a lot.
I dunno it just seems like a big deal to me, and it's a big reason I don't have PS+ yet (along with the piss poor internet service in my area). I'm also a very long-term-minded gamer and I'm not sold on subscription services unless there's something I can still use/play long after I've unsubbed. I just don't like paying for games that I don't have at least a decent amount of control over. This is also the reason I do not want games as a subscription (as a whole, not sub benefits like PS+ and GwG) to become the way games are sold to us.
Aaaaaanyway, cool if Sony does this, it'll probably push me into subbing. Still think (and always will) that locking online multiplayer behind a paywall is fucking outrageous for both MS and Sony, but keeping these games beyond a subscription would be very good.

This is what it now looks like in the PS web store...
No PS+ instructions on my store. Funnily enough, my store recognizes this game as PS TV compatible too which doesn't seem to be listed as in the UK store.
What's your store? Only seems to be working on EU countries.
