Can't wait for Deadly Premonition to run through OS/2 with wheel drivers for car steering.Durante wrote DOS4GW.EXE, COMMAND.COM and CP/M
Does a company make a driving wheel specifically for sim driving games that have blinkers and wipers and everything? Because it would be kind of hype to play Deadly Premonition with that, considering it has controls for blinkers and wipers. Can't wait for Deadly Premonition to run through OS/2 with wheel drivers for car steering.
VC's sticking at #15 on my end, but look at dat Football Manager just below COD.
From what I've heard about VC2, icecream and cohorts would love it.
The gameplay really really isn't as good as the first. It suffers heavily from the claustrophobic maps and asset re-use.That's not true though.
VC2 is a good, portable game with flaws. The game-play is just as awesome as the first game with the big drawback of the grind to upgrade units which is a sore point in the game.
The smaller maps are a downgrade compared to the first game but that's the nature of a portable entry, plus the restriction wasn't even that big of a drawback and offered a certain degree of planning.
Especially since I really, really don't give a shit about XP. The fact that GeDoSaTo doesn't work on it should be a clueThis exchange on the Steam forums made me laugh:

VC2 is the Dragon Age 2 to VC1's Origins. Heavily flawed, worse than the first, asset re-use, but some good ideas and somewhat fun to play. Except both are better than their DA counterparts![]()
Will pick up during a sale, dat backlog is enormous as it is.
Although I do hope it does sell well, would love to see Vanquish and Bayonetta on Steam, hopefully this leads to more Japanese games coming to PC, like Dragon's Dogma
Game seems hella niche, but on PC anything can find an audience.
Part of the problem tbh. If we don't get Bayonetta or Vanquish, I'm holding you personally responsible.![]()

College kids dont have money like that yo
Then maybe college kids shouldn't have amassed an "enormous backlog"!
Since I'm starting to get wistful, let me say one more thing. If I was the guy able to announce launch titles for the next PlayStation (as if!), I'd promise another Valkyria game. The PS3 never saw a sequel, and while two spin-offs titles were made for the PSP, only one of those reached Europe. Those Valkyria Chronicles aren't being told any more and I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to hear them again. Who wouldn't want to revisit this series with a new console that could realise it in even bigger, even grander terms?
But that's an old gamer's fantasy and I'm sure you've heard enough of my war stories by now. It's time for me to go, since my retrospection is becoming introspection and I feel a sudden desire to load the game up once more, just so I can look over the medals I've won and read the stories of my squadmates. Perhaps I could even start another game and fight that war anew, learning from my mistakes and saving those soldiers I lost last time around. That war stays with me, you know. Some things you never forget.
One day hopefully Crapcom will bring Dragon's Dogma and stop dicking around with rehashes of Resident Evil games.

Valkyria Chronicles is one of the finest games of its generation.

Comfy couch gaming with the PS3 version or superior graphical quality with the Pc version. Decisions, decisions..
I've been playing this all weekend, it still holds up, plays really well and looks great. There's a couple of PC version knocks though, graphics settings are pretty bare bones. More disappointing personally is the m&k controls. It works, although you need to tinker with the mouse sensitivity, but you can't use enter to select actions, it's all on the mouse, which would be fine but you can't use the cursor on the menus
The way the game works with aiming factoring stats and luck you might as well use a controller anyway
First of all, are you sure you're allowed to talk about the game?
Secondly, press space or rebind your keys if you don't like that.

I already own the game on PS3, but I'm still getting a little hyped. I went out a bought this today:
I've only had a quick look at it, but it's really indepth. I think it'll be my favourite gaming artbook after the Zelda Hyrule Historia

Interesting to hear about a lack of graphics options. Not that it would hurt VC if toasters can play it, but that would say a bit about CANVAS' limits.ModBot said:Instructions for participants:

It's an amazing book, if you like the game you have to buy the artbook, no excuses.
The sad thing is that it really makes you want another game, SEGA pls.
I sent you a PM because I'm really curious what you meant.now let's all forget I posted until Tuesday![]()

The aiming is stat-based - it's a strategy RPG after all. You aim at something and the game shows you a circle representing the area shots will fall into, the size of which is based on unit level/buffs, distance, weapon type and level and so on.The aiming system is something like Alpha Protocol?
It's chance based, like xcom, granted aiming at the head if hit can give you extra damage, also the game pauses when taking aim.The aiming system is something like Alpha Protocol?
