Looks amazing to me and i belive those are good implementations.
I'm fine with this if the Campaign is good, and MC is in the game. MC being awesome, through the eyes of Locke.
the fact that reach and Halo 4 had reticule bloom makes this unlikely imo

To be fair, this isn't minor.
Shooting and moving are like...the game. That's what you do for 99.9% of the game. Implementing mechanics that affect those...is affecting a big part of the game.
Doubt that, I am sure Frankie/343 dispelled some rumours about this not not long ago.

We're judging an entire mechanic based off a small, shitty quality 7 second clip. For all we know the player slowed down for a better shot.

Well as developers they are pretty much showing they do not give a fuck about the fan base by implementing these mechanics. Would be surprised if they cared about the outrage, considering they have the gall to do this shit after Halo 4.

Halo is pretty much the only multiplayer shooter without ADS as a mechanic for consoles. ADS inherently changes the flow of the game by forcing the player the stop and zoom down. It reduces the importance of movement, which is a key factor in Halo games. If ADS was added, Halo would not be Halo. It could still be good, but slapping the Halo name on it is just an attempt to strangle the old fanbase.
Sprint was also a big reason why Halo changed so dramatically for the worse after 3. Maps need to be designed differently to accommodate the more mobile units. It leaves behind a lot of stuff that made the map design in the first 3 Halos so top tier.

343 said loadouts and armor abilities are out. perks were part of that so it's unlikely those will return.
I don't even particularly like Halo, but I find this pretty a pretty insulting move by 343i towards the fan base. They're basically saying that they would 'rather' have the CoD massive playing their game than the people who play Halo because it's Halo.
'But what if it's still good???' kind of misses the point of why people are upset; the point is the blatant disregard for the fans of the series.

The idea that devs would go out of their way to add a dedicated ADS zoom to every weapon just for aesthetic purposes makes no sense.
Well it wasn't really supported on consoles.

This is exactly my stance.
Easier for accuracy but fans want to keep the run and gun feel. ADS is seen to slow down combat.

There is a problem in if you do not change enough, you get criticized. If you change too much, you get criticized.
Remember how bad Fallout 3 was criticized before release?
Personally Sprint does not bother me, ADS slowing everything going around you bothers me.

Just cosmetic? Think about it for more than three seconds and think about how rediculous that sounds.
The entire thing about aiming down the sights in FPS is to aim more accurately. They aren't dictating the left trigger to a cosmetic-only sight-obstructing feature that NOBODY would ever use if it didn't improve the gun's accuracy.
You are just putting your fingers in your ears and going 'LALALA' if you honestly think it's just a throwaway cosmetic feature.
