I didn't spoil anything too crazy. I will say the Joker did appear in Batman comics after Death in the Family.
That is not a spoiler and very ambiguous.

Edit - just in case

Batman #36 talk-

Did you go back and reread that annual? I was somewhat down on it when it was released but rereading it now with hindsight it's pretty interesting. Not sure how I missed that ending first time round.

Just finished watching X-Men Days of Future Past......the continuity.....

fun movie though, probably not something i'd buy and rewatch.

About Batman 36. Can someone explain this (Spoilers):
Did Joker assume Eric's identity or are they the same person?

a lot of those convergence solicits are basically "people are doing things and then FLASHPOINT (character) acts like a dick!"

Yeah, it's not at all clear to me why the Flashpoint characters are the antagonists. Maybe there's some setup for that. But a lot of the Flashpoint characters weren't out and out supervillains, but more war leaders of their respective peoples. It's hard to see why they would end up in another universe and decide to arbitrarily attack outside of that context.

Everyone could be Joker. Even Batman could be Joker. How do we know he's not? Maybe Batman comics are a delusional fantasy taking place in Joker's mind.

I have no idea what's going on. Not all that much of a spoiler is it?

so for batman

do i need to pick up the annual 2 and batman 34? i stopped reading after death of the family ended and just returned with last months issue.

anything in zero year? I got the trades of all that at least

I just did. It was definitely interesting knowing that was The Joker the whole time. This just proves Snyder loves the Batman and carefully plans everything.

Just read Thor #2:
I have a pretty good idea of who the new Thor is, but I have to go back a few issues and check

For Endgame those issues are important, that's about it.

Batman Eternal also takes place BEFORE Endgame, so you can pick that up too if you want. I'm really enjoying it. Focuses on the whole Bat Family.

Zero Year is probably Snyders best arc, so if you want a great story pick that up.

But for Endgame these aren't really important.

If you guys have spoilers, could you at least indicate what it's for?
I follow all the quote trails, and I still don't know what series it is.

Man, whoa, Winter Soldier #2. It's some next level shit. It's the goddamn weirdest weirdo comics for weirdos. It's the most out there. Marco Rudy is just going beast mode and Kot's at his most allegorical ever, even more than, say, Change. It's just, it's insane.

I have no goddamn idea how Marvel thought "yeah, that's what people who discovered Bucky through Cap 2 will want", and I don't care. It's MY JAM.

Children pls... no fighting only reading comics, k?

Edit:
^ Marco Rudy would fit perfectly on Doctor Strange. Some of his panel layout is so weird which would I say this again fit like a glove on Doctor Strange. Doesn't feel like a good fit on Winter Soldier.

I put everything in spoiler tags. You didn't. Don't start with me because you feel bad about spoiling Endgame Part 2 bro lol

Well let's just all be thankful that it's part 2 and part 2s never really matter in the great scheme.

I just read Starlight #2 and it was literally just a man getting on a ship and flying it a bit.

I have been reading more of Don Rosa's Life and Times and it has continued to be great. Some touching moments and some brilliant artwork.

Which other creators have drawn and written their comics, and both well?

Chris Ware I think is the best. He's a literary class prose writer who also happens to be the most astonishingly talented illustrator on the planet.

So why does she
speak in italicized text? Does Mjolnir magically give people Asgardian accents? XD

Wouldn't be surprised at all if it's that!
Only thing Im iffy on is how she got to the moon and what is with the hair. Unless I'm forgetting something.

She's a SHIELD agent so getting onto the moon isn't that hard. As for the hair, it's probably a part of the costume change, since she did remark at her new appearance. She'll probably have a non-costume appearance similar to how Thor had Donald Blake all those years ago.

I am just so goddamn happy to have called Insufferable Bay Area Tech Bro Iron Man because it is EXACTLY THAT and okay there's something REALLY FUCKED about launching a book with the status quo set AFTER the big event that we're literally in the middle of BUT WHO CARES because Tony Stark is the Gentrifier Supreme.

^ Isn't end game set after eternal? which is still ongoing for like 6 months?

GF woke me up when she saw this on BabsDraws' Instagram account.

Batgirl B&W
Sept 2015

yeah im getting this

How was batgirl this week? Last month's computer riff raff stuff was really stupid but I am excited for the potential of the new direction.

After. And yes. It's part of DC's plan to suck their books free of dramatic tension by alluding to how they end before they're done. Between the preview issue of eternal (that we still haven't reached) and Endgame, I don't really feel any "how will this play out" vibes. Luckily the art has been strong enough to make it worth a read.
