Those in Classic zones get disconnected.
Those MoP zones get disconnected.
I have one in Northrend that works.
I have one in Deepholm that works.

I just made a brand new one that is also "not found" so it's definitely some weird systemic issue.

I think it's the amount of people combined with funneling everyone into the Garrison phasing just completely fucked the servers creating all those individual instances at once.

Don't get your hopes up. After being stable all day after maintenance, people are starting to get 'Character not found' or disconnects after sitting at the 90% loading screen again.

Not many people are able to play right now.

That would explain why the last five hundred people in line up went pretty damn quick for me.

Not that it did any good in the end.

I think that has mostly been an issue on the US servers today, I'm on EU.

It's a 6 hour maintenance. I'm guessing, due to the length and timing, that they're installing hardware.

The last time I remember them giving back a day or so of play-time was back when the boat from Menethil to Theramore kept dropping players in the great sea, killing them to fatigue waaaaay back in early Vanilla. The CEO even sent an apology letter down to the playerbase for it.

Of course, the Blizzard now a days is very different to how they were back then. I honestly don't expect to see any reimbursement over WoD's launch.

DPS is all pretty simple, nothing in this game is really that complicated. Pick whatever strikes your fancy.

Not really just pick the class that may suite you the most if you have a level 60+ character with professions it will be boosted to 600+. And when you start you will begin at the blasted lands but when you go through the dark portal you will learn more abilities and from your talent tree a long the way when your done doing tanaan jungle everything will be unlocked. It's a good future to get the basics of a class.

I'd suggest a DPS druid to boost.

Then if you change your mind and want to be a tank or healer then you can collect gear easily.

There's been plenty of free days been given out in the past. Bit early to speculate but I imagine they may add 1-2 free days once everything is smoothed out. Regardless of the on going situation and what people think, they do tend to look after their players.

I believe after using the boost you'll have a level of 'training' via in game tutorials to bring you up to speed on your class.

Ultimately, I'd pick the one that tickles your fancy the most
