To those who said in this thread higher traffic density isn't necessarily needed since it was annoying in GTA IV for PC when you set the slider to 100% I have to say:

Yes, that can be true. But GTA IV had a lot tougher car handling system. You couldn't even turn a corner at high speed without drifting and scratching other cars.

I haven't played GTA V yet but I read everywhere the car handling is a lot easier.
So personally I would like very high traffic density because it adds to the thrill!

Online traffic density sure looks much improved over last gen.

And the skybox must have been upgraded because I don't remember it looking this good.

Skybox is creating backgrounds that make the world seem bigger than it is. Are there any skyboxes in GTAV? Everything you see in the "background" is able to be walked to I think. I don't think that's considered a skybox.

The graphics are improved on the places that you can walk to, therefore when it's in the background, it's also improved.

Not really. Some of us were watching a stream for over 3 hours last night streamed from a capture card and on a different stream site and the game looks gorgeous. The density is there btw especially at night with busy streets.

Update: Lost 3 hours of good footage due to corruption, but used the archived ones that spanned 3h 6 min instead. In total it looks like it's going to be around 80 (!) gfys/gifs. The quality will be good, but not great...had some loss due to recording 3 different streams at once.

I'll post it all within a hour or so.
