After actually trying out this CC I am a bit more impressed by these Inquisitors
It doesn't have nearly as many options as I thought and as usual with BioWare the CC lighting is horrible. Why oh why do they keep doing this!?

I'm used to making my Dragon Age characters in the Origins toolset which is nowhere near an in-game creator, so I'm terribly spoiled.

I'll keep trying.

I'm pretty accomplished with CC tools and making interesting characters... but I have to tip my hat to people who can actually use the tools to recreate an actor or something real. It's very hard to do. So good job, I recognized that one instantly.

I tried to go for a Ron Swanson look-a-like. Sorry for the phone quality, too lazy to re-open my game and take a real pic. It's not the best, but hey, I gave it a shot.

Wow that Microsoft Paintstache. Nothing wrong with your character, but I can't believe that's in game. At first I thought you made a clean shaven character, and then wanted to see what they'd have looked like with a stache. I legitimately thought you added the moustache in MS paint. The facial hair looks like it's cross gen with PS2 not PS360..

On a side note, I have to say I love the play as you download/install feature, which I've never used before. Tonight the download speeds were far more inconsistent than usual, and I wouldn't have been able to start at all without it.

I have spent 5 hours on the character creator so far, and not a single Inquisitor that i liked. I either make a generic looking character, or something i think its nice, but when the game starts i see them for the monsters they truly are.

Cool, getting pretty close to Fran there. I'll give that a shot. Good fit for such a tall character.

Edit: Nope, couldn't get much closer than that, but I kept going from there and used that as a reference for reworking my first attempt and I really like how this one turned out. I used more contrast in the inner iris this time and fixed the jaw and cheeks - the last attempt was a bit baby-faced. I went with the deeper voice and it's a pretty good fit.

Good enough! Time to actually play the game.

I ended up making a "generic looking" character. I feel the CC isn't actually as good as it looks. Most stuff I want to make seems to be possible but... it just isn't. It feels like something always looks "off" when going too far from the presets. With femElf anyway.

She's completely different from what I usually like/make. Not horrible but she isn't "mine". I hope I can make better ones from the other races...

Indeed. Hair choice is very lacking, pretty lazy attempt from the dev. I found male hair styles more appealing though.

There's only like 3 good male hairstyles and most of you aren't using them tbh
