Show off your Dragon Age Inquisitor

My second attempt at a female qunari.

Didn't realise in the character creator that she had some much eyeshadow, now it's driving me nuts since otherwise I really like how she turned out. Might end up restarting for a third time...

His name is Vorkhul. Looks like a hard bugger, but when he opens his mouth he sounds like a campy, English gent. He's not a brawler either. My desire to have a rugged Qunari in the mage class left me with an odd combination that bewilders those he meets.

Human male mage. I'm not a fan of most of the hairstyle options (or how they're lit), so I ended up choosing one of the buzzcuts (which reminds me of Commander Shepard). I did like the short undercut style, but I think Dorian wears that and I didn't want a duplicate.

This guy is cute. Like Commander Shepard's (sorry) long-lost little brother.

Best dude I've seen so far. Great job.

There's actually two different undercuts. Dorian has the one with some parting on top. The other is totally shortened at the crown.

Your character turned out really good.

anyone else kind of upset by the downgrade your character undergoes the second you leave the character creation screen?

in some ways the essence of the face you designed doesn't even carry over quite right to the actual character. hard to describe.

So many qunari, but I can't wait to see BioWare's metrics on stuff like race and class choice. I know it's not likely, but I'd also really like to know the times that people spend in the CC.

Anyway, another great shot of Priya Adaar.

Here's mine, Trist the Qunari. He's really nice to people :)

I really, really like that look. Nice job

The hair choices in this game are....lacking to say the least. I had to make do with what was available.

Daenerys...?

(Lacks purple eyes. Though the TV show lacks them.)

Damn! That's quite the Queen of Dragons!

Initially when I was first making my character I tried to make Daenerys referencing from Google images (the HBO) version but I just couldn't get it to look right. In the end I just modified a few facial features to clean up the mess that I had done and tried to make a visually appealing character.

It's unfortunate that this game does not have character face codes like in Mass Effect. I think people generally enjoyed that feature.

Eirynn Trevelyan, my female Human Mage, who will be turned into a Knight Enchanter as soon as I can. I'm not really good with the CC, and getting to her took me around 45 minutes of careful tweaking. I'd love to see a video of someone who knows what they are doing with the CC...

Only about an hour or so into the game. Not the most unique looking character, but I'm happy enough. Though having messed around with a few other characters before hand, I definitely agree that there's a noticeable downgrade going from the creation menu, to the actual game. Bit of a shame. Other than that, loving the game so far.

Oh, and my character always looks pissed off. Seriously.

Crappy phone pic, but here's my rogue, Carys Trevelyan.

Quite happy with how she turned out, although she looks REALLY derpy from certain angles during cutscenes. She also reminds me of someone famous, but I can't quite put my finger on who it is.

I didn't think someone was really going to post a plot spoiler here. :(

It's okay Dolores, don't listen to all these haters, they don't know the pain of trying to fit these massive, rippling, handsome qunari bodies into Orlesian fashions and makeup.

u stay beautiful gurl

His expression, lol. He looks like he really doesn't want to be there.

I'd like to roll a Elf character but i cant seem to make a good look male Elf. anyone give me an example of one?
I'm in the same boat. I thought I had created one I could play with, but he ended up looking like a genetic-experiment-gone-wrong version of the one I actually created once I started the game. Is there a single example of a decent looking male elf?

I'll try one tomorrow... if it comes out alright I'll upload the CC process. Probably too late for you though.

edit: Actually I have time before work, I'll try now.

Here's an elf I restarted with. I'm happy with him because he actually looks good in all angles in game unlike the previous characters I created who made derp faces every now and then:

My first male elf looked pretty good in CC and then awful in-game.

RE-ROLL

lol. The male elves are all quite feminine as far as features... and have very thin faces. So it's a bit of a challenge.

Holy Shit LOL said:

Nice lip gloss buddy. hahaha

Yep. It sure would be nice if there was a "preview your character in game world" feature during character creation. My male elf looked pretty cool in CC and then in-game looked like a gaunt, extra goofy Jerry Seinfeld.

You can't mess with the face shape slider in my experience. You might get something that looks fine in CC, but then in game they look like goddamned mutants.

So best to settle in on one of the more balanced, fuller presets as a base and leave it alone... change features but the actual face shape is best left unmolested, otherwise... yikes.

btw wondercheese seems as though I ran out of time. Gotta go to work. My sole attempt at Elf man ended in utter defeat. But now I feel compelled to best this CC. Just not today.
