Guys, I still can't get over this lack of lag. This is amazing. This has to last. I'm paranoid that suddenly the online will get laggy permanently somehow. It just seems too good to be true.

GG. Shamrock...

for you

(naw despite getting bodied hard this is one of the few fighting games where I don't get butthurt over losing, the best part of this game having great online is that I'm going to face characters that I normally wouldn't...Ness is now added to list of Diddy and Yoshi in terms of never expect it to be like this...but it do).

wait until japan and europe get the game and the server load quadruples

I still can't get over Amiibos holy s*** that's devastating

I'm fine with it. If I want to play people I'll play people, online or off. Amiibos being monsters with super-human strength is lovely, it means I have to play that much better in order to beat them. They're not a replacement for people, they're just a new kind of challenge. And if you can beat them, it'll probably help you get better at the game overall.

My latest Sonic stage is Sandopolis Zone:

Playing time breakdown:

Looking at trophies: 45%
Adjusting My Music bars: 20%
Examining challenge board for easiest challenges: 15%
Recreating Smash 64 stages in Stage Builder: 15%
Playing Smash battles: 5%

Hehehe

Spectate mode is surprisingly fun to watch while cleaning and folding clothes. Betting on matches can get pretty addictive.

Neat! Maybe I can be productive now.

God, Ganondorf is slow. Worthless character?

You didn't play Brawl, did you?

100-man smash is driving me nuts. get 99 kills and a giant PacMan that takes up half the screen comes down and kicks my ass

Who are you playing as?

Outside of myself, there were only 4 possible KOs. I got two and P3 got two. Nobody KOd me, yet I KOd P3 who was the eventual winner. How am I not the better player? Not only did I dominate the board game part, I went untouched in the final battle until sudden death. The scoring is focused like time when it should be like stock.

Also people add me, my NNID is Forkball. There won't be lag.

but there might be latency...

Will do.

Win or lose it doesn't matter, you just had the play of the night.

First the fake out dunk.

Totally thought I had it, a little smug not gonna lie.

And then the return. Double dunk.

Loved it.

I have two questions for those who are 100% commited to trophy hunting.
-How many trophies does the Wii U version have?
-We all know there's a shop section, do trophies you already purchased appear again or they're gone for good once you get them??

Just like in the 3ds version, trophies that you already have can appear on the shop, although the game will let you know, in here, if you already have the trophy it says "Unlocked" on the bottom of the box.

I don't know how many trophies there are total.

I see, thanks.
Didn't pay too much attention to the "unlocked" note.

GGs as always Tipster. Man, I think I'll go ahead and say I find you the hardest to play against here; I just cannot keep a consistent level of play against you. I'm always happy to play though, as I feel myself improving after each session we have. Look forward to our next matches and feel free to share any tips you might have for things I could work on!

Ah, I appreciate your saying that, haha. Seriously though, feel free to hit me up for a game any time I'm on.

Unfortunately, you play characters I don't play at all, so it's tough to offer any specific advice. I think your general knowledge of the game is great and it's just getting experience of match ups, safe approaches and prediction.

The only specific thing I'd say is to maybe not use counter quite so much with Lucina against grabby players like me. :)

Funny you mention the countering. Part of it is that I totally counter too much, but I accidentally have been doing it when I mistime my side-b combos. Still, will work on it.
