Show off your Dragon Age Inquisitor

Another shot of Priya Adaar in her new robes. I know I shouldn't waste materials crafting, and I even chose appearance over stats, but I couldn't live with seeing her in boring old grey.

"Fun" fact: She decorates her horns because she just likes them, even if she doesn't care about the qunari (the ones that follow the Qun). What she won't admit to herself is that she adorns them to spite her father, since he tried to remove them when she was young. He loathed the Qun and even put himself in harm's way to cause trouble for the qunari. Got himself killed when Priya was twelve, and internally she won't forgive him for it.
NeoGAF, meet Daena:

She's a young, unexperienced Elf who feels like she's got a lot to prove. Hence the aggressive tattoo color and running around with swords twice her size ;)
I too will be making a tiny elf with a giant sword as my second or third character.

I've noticed make-up really varies depending on light. In good natural light it's fine. But in darker areas it can look too "glowy"? Like it's mildly radioactive. I think I'll just leave the make-up out next time, except the eyes and lips.

Like with real makeup, (blush for instance), you often want it to make a difference without standing out. Not that more intense make-up jobs don't look great sometimes. Still, it can add a lot to your Inquisitor if you turn the intensity way down.

Ugh, why do certain hairstyles clip through ears? It looks really, REALLY bad. And it's not like it isn't an obvious flaw/easy fix. So annoying. I'll post a screenshot later of what I mean.

Also annoying that the lighting in the character creator makes hair colour seem a lot darker than it actually is. Meant to go for dark brown, got light brown in some scenes if it's lit weird.

Okay, I'm digging my character much more in cutscenes. I paid more attention to in-game shots before, but cranking it up and waiting for cutscenes takes the cake.

I still wish hair didn't look so "caked" together. Seriously, it along with the style selection is awful. Aside from that, I've become satisfied with Ioria~

Actually tried to get my guy to look like someone real.

Any guesses?

I think I over egged it a little with the complexion slider so unfortunately he is somewhat more wrinkled than I'd like and not as shiny faced as some of the Inquisitors posted here.

But I'm more or less happy with the result. Sometimes he looks kind of weird but that's just down to the awkward animations you get in Bioware cutscenes.

Here's one that I started.
By the way, solely because of this image, I'm going to go to Best Buy tomorrow morning, trade in GTA5 and pick this up. Don't know why I didn't acknowledge Dragon Age earlier. Seems like a good time to start.

Nice detail; I admire the thought you put into it. Usually, my character backgrounds are just flimsy but feasible justifications for their existence.

Anyway, here's Bahera (didn't think to give her a last name), my mage. She doesn't follow the Qun nor buy into the Andraste's chosen narrative, but she's come too far for her to reject the people when look to her for leadership.

The eyes came out really well, I think. Just added a bit of gold to the iris. Usually I go too vivid, which looks awkward during in-engine cutscenes.

Btw: for fans of Pizza Face, Dolores is, unfortunately, on the cutting room floor.

Really liked this shot. Sorry for the cropping (was a cut scene w/ dialogue wheel and text at the top). The face looks great.

Here's mine. Sort of based on the portraits of aefon the conquerer from the world of ice and fire.. Not perfect but I'm happy with it!
