Damn! what the hell is going on in this thread?? it's moving too fast, can anyone update us- the ones who've gone missing for 10 minutes just to see another 20 pages added, about the latest rumors? :P

You really haven't missed anything aside from people getting irrationally hyped and expecting things that should never legitimately be expected.

There were a couple of solid, albeit brief, discussions about the possibility of seeing Ono/Capcom's PS4 game and what it could be in addition to what Guerrilla Games is up to. But other than that, it's been mostly senseless hype.

The screen will just simply flash FINAL FANTASY VII and the audience will descend into manic chaos and begin transcending to another plane of existence.

Shinji will end with ''Please be Excited'' while impersonating Hannibal Lector's speech mannerisms, and remove his last mask, revealing the true identity of the person on stage the whole time. The camera will fade to black, and the voice of a man who sounds like he inhaled too much helium will proudly announce that Sony Computer Entertainment has officially acquired Nintendo, name himself as Andrew House and end conference with Reggie being lowered onto the stage in a cage to be poked with sticks by the 5500 strong audience.

As the crowd starts shaking with euphoria and their muscles being to weaken, massive amounts of African bees will be released from the auditorium ceiling as House laughs manically. As the masses scream in terror, Shuhei Yoshida and Adam Boyes will patiently wait outside with a camera crew to film the crowds reactions as they run through the doors shrieking in terror, using the footage to promote next year's PSX.

Sony don't have enough money to pay a big 3rd party exclusive. Sony is playing with our nostalgia since the beginning of the PS4.

We know the thing is " big ". It's Crash Bandicoot IMO.

And people who think that a new Crash Bandicoot exclusive on PS4 won't be a megaton and won't explode on the internet are dreaming

Part of me feels like Sony is in a position where they don't need to make a deal for a game like that. They've been doing fine with their content and marketing deals. They've always gone out of their way for indie games or games from developers with a unique idea or set of concepts.
 
Okay, well...

I am one of the hugest proponents of Crash coming back you will find, but consider me 100% Grade A SHOCKED if that's how it happens.

I think you're underselling it, first off, but really I was just saying that regardless of Crash's Sony ties, he's a third party property, and any exclusive game is an acquisition Sony would have to pay for.
 
Crash may as well be Knack in this day and age. Just look at his counterpart, Spyro. He's a bit player in a line of glorified McDonalds toys.

A few people supposedly know whats going down on the 6th of December and they are finding out through PM's. Some that have said to be excited for the event are trustworthy from what I know. Other than that there isn't much going on, and to be honest the less people that know the better so I don't think anyone will be sending out anymore pm's about what's happening. We're only 6 days away, do you guys not have patience?
 
It all makes sense now. The obvious solution to Sony getting the crash IP back if Activision isn't selling is for Sony to buy Activision. Its so obvious once you think about it. That must be why Blizzard will be there as well.

Seriously though, I hope they announce Overwatch for PS4.
