Still in the works.

Don't forget Namco has been developing two Smash titles and Tekken 7 simultaneously, plus the Pokken game. They can only be spread so thin.

That's why it's hard.
We don't have a single hint which studio could present something.
Obviously there are alot of studios who just shipped a game or already announced a title.
Japanese developers make it even harder, and if it isn't a new IP there is no new trademark.
We still know for example that Sony has Killstrain as IP, but we don't know who exactly is gonna use it.

Bend's new game, said to be an open-world survival/horror game according to Shinobi, is a possibility. Media Molecule could also, in theory, announce their main project but that would seem strange when they have Tearaway announced and needing promotion.

Outside of those two, Guerrilla, Capcom, and indies, I don't see too much potential for new IP. Polyphony is working on Gran Turismo, Studio Japan probably wouldn't announce something at a western event like this, Santa Monica is almost certainly working on God of War, San Diego is churning out another MLB game, and it's probably too early to hear anything from Cambridge, Sucker Punch, or Quantic Dream.

I know about Bend, doesn't mean it's them.
Studio Japan would ALWAYS announce a title on such an event, unless it's a title aimed solely for the japanese audience, which I doubt is gonna happen.

Fair enough!

I suppose they could have something to show at PSX. It's been a year since their last releases (Knack, Rain) and their games usually aren't too big. Announcing something soon wouldn't be shocking.

Plus we all now how Sony likes to team up with independent developers like From and Ready At Dawn. I know I'm contradicting my own post (this didn't occur to me yet), but that means they could throw almost anything our way at any time.
 
Sony has money problems, but Blu-ray isn't why. That format is great for creators and consumers, particularly in gaming. The same will be true for Archival discs.

I'm at the point now where I just keep this thread constantly open and have GAF in another tab, I do not want to miss a thing.

This weekend can not come soon enough, people comparing TGA/PSX to a PAX are delusional, this is obviously going to be much, much bigger

Nothing substantial, you missed some poetry and more people hoping for Crash, for now it seems the Agent party has died down a bit
 
I would honestly love to see Adam Sessler for being analytical and Samuel Jackson as the hype man. Two hosts would be a wonderful balance.
