Knack about to have his own private army.

Crash? Now on life support since folks thought it'd be a good idea for him to cause disturbance in Master Chief's yard.

Knack wins when you do the math. He'd probably beat Crash's ass too.

Jurassic Encounters was/is a game they had a E3. It's just a tech demo as much as I know.
However it's possible it could be expanding into a bigger product. Unsure about any sort of ties to DC though.
We haven't heard much about what capcom has been doing with 3rd parties if anything as of late. So who knows.
jurassic_encounter_1.jpg

We just know they will be at the event with their dinosaur "game"
So it might be a more full fledged title than first believed.

A virtual Jurassic Park would be my killer app for Morpheus.

On Twitter TheWorthyEdge said he's heard "various different things" about Crash. I don't think that's one of the things he was teasing.

I might be turning down the hype a bit, but ask yourselves something. Any ONE of the announcements that's been rumored in this thread would be more than enough for any ONE E3. Some of the theories sound like literal dream scenarios that rival Harry Potter fanfic at it's best (I would know).

More importantly the chances of these things happening sound slim to none:
1. Crash coming back! - 2/10 Doritos. Sony would have to publicly purchase the I.P. from Activision. Last time I checked it's being held ransom for underperforming and becoming more and more irrelevant. Crash is an identifiable caraciature from history, nothing more. Creating a new Crash game is a massive investment because Sony would need to buy the I.P., create the game, and pray that it sells well enough to make a profit.

2. Final Fantasy VII - REMAKE - 2/10 Doritos. Square Enix is spread thin. Final Fantasy XV is currently living in purgatory with Catbird. Nomura is working on Kindom Hearts 3, the main team is working on Final Fantasy XV, and the only saving grace for the company is an online MMO. No one is free of projects to make said title.

3. Shenmue 3 - 4/10 Doritos. Sega gives no fucks. The general public gives no fucks. Shenmue is like the Marshal Mathers L.P. It was good for it's time, but a modern day rendition and a full scale production would be both critically and commercially a disaster. The only thing it would be good for is an announcement.

So after Thuway took a nap, bought ingredients for the PlayStation Cheesecake, he came to the realization.

PlayStation Experience is a CELEBRATION. Yes we'll get new announcements, but there is too much in the pipeline right now to not focus on. The Order is a mere months away, yet, the hype surrounding it is close to zero. Uncharted 4 is a total mystery outside someone walking into a forest. Blood Borne is coming in March, and we've yet to see more than a few areas in the game.

PSX sounds like an EXPANSION of what we know. You'll see No Man's Sky, Rime, the Order, Uncharted, and MAYBE the Last Guardian to finish the show. That should be fine with you. If you want more, you need buy a Delorian and go into an alternate time line. Just my two cents.

:) PLAYSTATION HYPE TRAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN.

Here's the most important part of this post.

Thuway writes Harry Potter fanfiction.

Knack sucks. There I said it.

I don't know whether I should take what you say seriously anymore... I'm not trying to be rude but I want to BELIEVE!!!!!

Talk about putting Aresto Momentum on the hype train :(

Jesus Christ this thread moves fucking FAST. Can't even read it fast enough anymore.

Any other EST people gonna stay up tonight for the Japanese Playstation Awards thing? It's at 2:30AM EST, and I'm afraid if I stay up and something interesting does happen, the hype will prevent me from sleeping afterward.

● Things we've been waiting for previously announced to make appearance
● Something that was much requested finally coming true
● And some announcement for a franchise that is going to be really interesting for people and cause some waves

And I know the details of two of the announcements, but the third was left blank for me with the emphasis that it is going to be a very considerable announcement.

I don't want to do the WorthyEdge thing but that's the outline of the three announcements I've heard without spoiling it for people. I am by no means an insider and never claim to be so I'm going on the trust of the people I talk to, and there has been a case before where I had my leg pulled (years ago World of Warcraft coming to consoles). So I'd take anything with a grain of salt. I won't PM people because I don't give information out that people give me in confidence (unless it's really fucked up and people deserve to know), but I think that's sufficiently vague enough to not really give anything away.

So that's all, you people are already on a runaway hype train so I'll leave you to it :P

3 megatons sound about right, but I think theres 1 GIGAton

You requested it, so here is my poem:

Only 5 days away from our very first
Public event and the Gaf just ‘bout burst

Amazing to see many guesses and Gifs
Until 10am that day you’ll be hanging from cliffs.

The problem with Gaf and it’s vast speculation
Is that even great news brings out your frustration

One person’s favorite is another’s least fave
But we try to bring games that most gamers crave

Our goal is to have fun, share news, announce games
Meet new friends, talk games & also denounce flames

Keep an open mind while we attempt something new
Hope to see you all there where we can share a cold brew!

Bloody hell, the fun police just showed. Its an event celebrating 20 years in the game. I would be disappointed if nostalgia goggles weren't on and revival IP wasnt mentioned.

Tim Schafer, Gio Corsi & I were interviewed for a new show talking about the PlayStation Experience...

Have i lost something?

Considering I woke up at fucking 7:45pm for some reason, I will be watching it :V

Have i lost something?

Worthy revised 3 mega + 1 giga to 4 mega before he got the boot.

What kind of cheese do you use? I'm a mascarpone man myself.

I'm a Philadelphia Man. I would think about changing to Mascaparone if you can give me a compelling reason. Also recipes, I would love Recipes. I currently make a great rendition of Junior's in Brooklyn. I am trying to make the best cheesecake EvER for PSX.

Logical Reasoning.
I enjoy the hype GAF spurns regardless though.
makes for a pretty fun thread even if it just means more people hurt at the lack of the announcements they wanted.

Why does it matter if Crash sells or not?

Sony isn't relying on Crash to pay the bills. They can take a risk and if it fails, they just shelve it till the next time.

I thought the whole point of being first party is you can create whatever games you want because you're trying to sell hardware. If they wanted to sell the most software, they would become third party.

Senran Kagura producer out of nowhere picking today of all days writing that Gravity Rush is an awesome game.

Gravity Rush 2 announcement tonight at PS awards chu chu.

That's a how a healthy business works right? Fan service with no logical implication on the developer strain, costs incurred, and the risk of diluting a franchise.

It matters because it would cost quite a bit to buy the rights from Activision.

I know nothing. I make Cheesecake. It has a pistachio cinnamon crust and the batter is filled with saffron, white choclate, and a hint of molasses. You would like. It's EPIC.

Ma man, I make the best mac and cheese. I can make the paste from scratch to and make it al dente. HMMMMMMM belloso

Et tu, Thuway?

While they're at it they can also work on Mega Man Legends 3.

YASSSSS

I'm still of the mind that a Crash game announcement is not reliant on them purchasing the IP for the game. It's not like Sony and Activision are strangers to a working relationship.

Sony has billions to fall back on. They're not going to lose much if one title happens to underperform.

If they're acquiring the I.P, they're going to market it in a way that gets people buying PS4's and anything else associated with it.
