This is good for the fighting game community, none of this split player base malarky.
dat hardware optimizations too.

You kidding right?
I'm sure Capcom cut out a chunk of their marketbase for free
Maybe it's that Japanese honor that other guy was going on about?
Yeah. Capcom probably offered them that deal out of sheer generosity.

Capcom had some serious liquidity troubles (http://gaminrealm.com/2013/09/10/capcom-152-mil-bank/) some time ago, maybe Sony stepped in and helped.
MS saved the development of the game as EA wouldn't front up the rest of it. This is all in "The Final Hours of Titanfall".

you can guess who's who
Do Sony & MS pay for every game that's not on the Wii U? Maybe just maybe they felt it was better to make the game for the PS4 & PC without dealing with the Xbox One.

Microsoft can keep TR, we got Street Fighter freaking 5.
Worldwide the PS4 is outselling the Xbox one about 2 to 1.
Its a lot cheaper to fund development of a game to a platform that never was going to exist than paying to keep a game from a huge demographic because there is almost no advantage for the developer in doing that. The Tomb Raider deal is a great example. The amount of money to make that a full exclusive was something even MS wasn't willing to do. That said they were more than willing to pay for a staggered release so it could be a mindshare exclusive.
The arrow is a bad unfunny meme, that is a "how new are you?" meme, quite different.
Why are exclusives a good thing? (especially for a multiplatform title like street fighter)
"It's ok because MS did it before".
10 year old mentality right here.
Bayonetta and Rodin?
limiting exposure does no good for the FGC
it was bad for KI and it's bad for SF
what good do you think it does?
Wow I never saw that coming, that is a big win for Sony. Hopefully for XBO owners it's only a timed exclusive, makes no sense to leave out the system.
Didn't MS recently say they are close to 10 million sold while Sony sold 13.5 million? While I believe it's selling 2:1 in certain markets, the gap certainly isn't that large on a worldwide basis.
and i'm sure this will be a staggered release, with Super Street Fighter coming to Xbox One, and the Xbone doesn't have a huge demographic, at this point.

Amazing
Didn't the Hadouken Cabs video come out a year ago?I can be wrong, but i wouldn't be surprised if the dev started 2 weeks ago. This seems like a quick thing to test an engine or that sony asked for the announcement.
People are getting this wrong
its not like Titanfall and Tomb Raider where they where announced on BOTH and THEN later changed
especially when TR was a full story sequel (lol do not attempt to use SFs story )
This is more like what MS did with Killer Instinct
a well known FG franchises ip is now exclusive to Sony being FIRST revealed!
"Not Its on Xbox1 too, actually never mind its not" they didn't build up XBox fans excitement and then take it away
is it a Dick move to an extent yes, both its not the same argument as Tomb Raider

I'm dying here! Hilarious.
I thought it was going to be at PSX personally. That was the impression I got.
I'm the same as I always was on this subject, though. Really glad SFV exists, but unless it was never going to exist otherwise, not a fan of it being withheld from XBO owners.
Looks like an Ultra Street Fighter IV on steroids, not like a next-gen game...maybe it's the art-style or it's a Tekken 7 situation (unfinished and unpolished), but yeah first impression is meh...
Consoles will always hold the technical potential of games back, the PS4 is no exception.I don't get how anyone can see this as bad news. How can it not be great that the game won't be held back by the lesser hardware of the Xbone?
If anything, PC gamers could be upset that it wasn't a PC exclusive, but that would be impossible for a franchise this big.
