I never said that they are NOT shitty. Their DLC practices are deplorable. I just said that they are certainly not the worst this gen.

Yet sony keeps outselling MS worldwide and won 10 of 11 months in the US (Most likely)m, and will most likely go back to outselling x1 in the US soon.

The issue with Tomb raider is that it was announced as multi platform and then later a new trailer was shown as Xbone only. At least street fighter is being announced and revealed as an exclusive. Not announced to get everyones hopes up and then turned into an exclusive.

This is not last gen MS has no lead on Sony , if this was a money hat it most likely on the cheaper side since it also on PC.
If Sony can spend millions making games i don't see why the can spend money to make PS4 the default fighting game consoles .
Sales wise SF don't sell that great so they won't have that much money to make up .

EDIT and the next versions with be on X1 for certain .

MS kept Tomb raider off any other platform except for theirs

Sony's exclusivity which I wouldnt even call it an exclusive is on another platform, which means even xbox one owners who have a pc can still play it

Why aren't we upset about this? We were upset about Tomb Raider. Is this not the same exact thing? Leader of the franchise says they didn't have the budget for a sequel until Sony/Microsoft came in. Same situation. When it was Tomb Raider the internet threatened to boycott. Now it's Street Fighter and people are applauding?

I think the issue is Capcom's position is tougher. They can't afford to screw up IPs and still do, somehow. Ubisoft and EA can eat a plate of shit since they can still eke out a profit despite any rage from consumers.

I have an Xbox One but really enjoy Street Fighter. If this turns out to be true and it isn't a timed exclusive then I'll eventually get a PS4 as well. For the moment I'll enjoy the exclusive games for the console I do own then worry about a PS4 in a year or so when SFV finally comes out.

Not if you actually played the games before. Because Street Fighter II and III are mechanically, completely different. As was the transition to IV.

The primary difference there is that the SF fanbase didn't bitch for the series to remain the exact same as Smash Bros fans did with Melee. Which is 13 years old at this point,

Which is why I don't get this move.

On topic, I would imagine in six months from release we will get a super update sku on all platforms. There's no need for all this baseless knee-jerk pandemonium.

We aren't sure it is exclusive worldwide yet. Also, we don't know the situation in which SFV became a PS4 exclusive, TR2 initially revealed as a multiplat title and later re-revealed as an XBO exclusive. Ono had been hinting PS4 + SF for over a year now and his latest comments made it look like Capcom was very reluctant on greenlighting projects if they weren't huge sellers. SF isn't as big as Resident Evil.
