You'd think more folks would have caught on that Nintendo is down to earth, even outright humble, about showing off games at this point. That should be a hint for people to get realistic and keep expectations in check.
Based on what was seen, here's what I noticed:
1. Yep, huge open world, with what looks like a very large map. That's what many, many have asked for the last decade or more. Well, here we are. Nintendo "caught up" to the west.
2. Who cares if SotC is ten years old. Robot truck horse epona is gone. I never liked riding the horse in a Zelda game, and this is exactly what was needed.
3. It's probably a safe bet that any gyro controls for aiming will work as they tend to do now in plenty of games: analog stick is the default for aim, and gyro can be used to fine tune the aim as an option.
I'm intrigued, no real complaints so far.
