343 is now hiring more people to work on Halo, mostly software and network engineers.

Also, "A good understanding of optimizing and finishing games."

:I

Microsoft isn't dumb, but a ruthless corporation that needs maximum profit. Halo: MCC has probably only made them a fraction of the money it could have. So when you have meetings on sales projections, and how many millions of dollars it'll make, and then have sales basically tank in a week from launch, you know some heads will roll.

Were it so easy...to find a match

eww inverted
Agree. It ruins everything when there's that one person at a LAN party that has to change his (or her) controller settings. Then they rotate out and it happens again... Ugh. Someone needs to make a controller with a switch that automatically inverts the Y axis on the right stick.

OP should have been "Searching. . ." and nothing else IMO.

Going forward, is Mix the only OP creator allowed to make these threads or can anyone do it? I'd like to create one one day.

Its a shame this game is still struggling to perform at an acceptable level, as when it works it plays so well.

Finding a game is pretty fast now, thank God.

Now, if only they can fix the issue where it kicks you back to the lobby after a game ends.

Halo: The Disaster Chief Collection

all jokes aside, how is this holding up these days? haven't even attempted to play this in a couple weeks and I'm getting a hankering to try again tonight.

Kinect was supposed to fix that by keeping track of each player's settings. But, as far as I know, no game has implemented it.

I hate to be that guy, but were we ever given a reason as to why Halo 3 and Halo 4's armor customization was axed in favor of armor sets? If it truly is the UI and for some reason can't show of 3D models, they could easily go around it using higher rez pictures of what the old Bungie site did for showing off your armor. If that wasn't even it, you could make a nice UI for it. I didn't mean to make this a serious drawing, just enough to get the point across.

But for some reason, people seem to support the idea of removing customization, saying Halo isn't barbie, or some other copouts.

militant advocate of good halo

favorite game is reach

favorite halo reach gametype is halo reach mlg playlist in halo reach

343/343 black friday ads recommend it

ZBNS MLG Reach is second behind Halo CE imo, it's really good. It just took too long to exist and only had a bunch of gray forge maps to play on.

So uh, on a scale of 1 to 100, how much does this game work now?

50/100

35/50 for the campaign - Various glitches effecting gameplay including but not limited to friendly/enemy AI freezing problems, unreliable checkpoint system, disappearing enemies in H2A

15/50 for the multiplayer - It would be easier to list what is working than what isn't. Trying to find a game is like gambling at a casino. Borderline impossible to group up into parties and play with friends, which is the entire point of multiplayer.

OP should only have been 20% finished, and only work every third time I try and load it.

Add features later as time goes on.

I just feel like ZBNS MLG Reach is way too barebones. CE sandbox should be the baseline in terms of minimum content, imo. I also just don't like the way Reach's physics feel at all save for the player inertia on movement.
