Yeah all that stuff in DmC better make it into DMC4 too. I mean Gods Must Die mode was a PC mod for fucking DMC4!!!!
You'll be waiting waiting a long time. DmC's plentiful issues were mainly numbers tweaks and have already appeared. DMC's issue was the reuse of level assets. To create a remaster worth buying, Capcom would need more than another character treading down the same hallways, they would need a full fledged game.

I'm glad I held off on buying DMC4.
I don't really believe this is a DmC2 or DMC5 choice given by Capcom. DMC5 is definitely happening and is probably already in development. But the illusion of choice and the urgency that this announcement represents is perfect for drumming up interest and getting the most amount of sales.
The remaster is great and fixes many flaws along with adding other great much requested features, however, most of the bosses are terrible, the enemy design is overall lackluster compared to what it should have been, and overall DmCs combat system along with the platforming is not a replacement for the depth of 3/4s combat.
It's good, and I think it's underrated, but it has so much to live up to. Not only DMC1, 3 and the good parts of 4, but also the potential of DMC5 which is miles higher than what DmC achieved.

Yes, there are new games coming out in 2015. Why wouldn't there be? That doesn't change the fact that an unusually large portion of them are remasters.
