There's quite a few great games for those who like Nintendo's games, no one could deny that. For those of us who never cared much for their first-party games but grew up loving the NES and SNES for the third-party games there's precious little on offer. Shovel Knight looks neat though, but that's not an exclusive anyway.

They clearly define what they mean by "great" in the picture. They are not lying because you refuse to accept a 85+ metacritic score and userscore as "great" .

Too bad Retro didn't get accolades for DK on Wii U. Great platformer that was hindered by being a recent sequel with not enough upgrades from the DKCR on Wii. Wouldn't be surprised if Retro was working on DKCR 3 for Nintendo's next console in ~ 2017

They really love metascore, theres only two games on that list that I find appealing enough. 2014 was not a good year for ninty (which some of those games they have arent even 2014 games).

The actually fact they had to list both Bayonetta 1 and 2 and New SMB on both systems plus the HD ports of SMW and Zelda and games that are actually on other systems!?
It says all you need to know.

1. NSMB is a different game on both systems
2. Bayonetta 1 & 2 are separate games
3. Super Mario 3D World is not an HD port (seriously, a year after it's out we're still getting this crap?)
4. So what if some of the games are on other systems, they're on the Wii U and that's what the infographic is saying.

I know my Gamecube could survive if I throw an Xbox at it, but then again, a Gamecube would barely dent a Xbox. Either way, PS2 would clearly lose that battle.

That is entirely an opinion, and one that is not generally shared among the gaming public, judging by sales. Fact is if you are not interested in nintendo games, there is little reason to own one. Their 3rd party support is atrocious.
