Jeff liked it a lot and it was a slow year in general.
I think its a pretty good game but the co op is lacking and they are still insisting on the stupid built in 100ms of lag for everyone in multiplayer. The multiplayer is a total joke and has no consistcy with skill. A total toss up slot machine now.

I'm so glad multiple GBers actually played The Fall. It's so good. Way better than a lot of the big indie games getting tons of attention.

Brad's pothead laugh is never not funny.
...oh man. Danganronpa 2 really does have some "best moment" moments in it...as does the first game.
Still, I will eat a hotdog with only ketchup if the title "Danganronpa" gets mentioned at all in any of the deliberations. Patrick is my only hope for that, and he might not even try.

I remember Patrick saying Danganronpa 2 left a bad taste in his mouth because it leaned too far into fanservice.
Still loving the GOTY content, it's fantastic, Giant Bomb does my favourite work and Alex nails it in today's video. Awesome stuff. Here are some opinions I had during the deliberations:
- I was so happy that P.T. made the Best Surprise list and that it's also high on Patrick's personal list. I consider P.T. a legit game that is separate from Silent Hills.
- I think #Driveclub should have been talked about for Best Looking. (And Sunshine Overdrive got robbed!)
- Spelunky should have been a runner up for Old GOTY!
- I'm glad that Velvet Sundown got it's due, but I hope it's not discussed ad nauseam.
- Jason was a great voice for today's deliberations.
But regardless of the outcome, the whole thing is fun. The differing perspectives is really fun.

P.T. should have won the Best Surprise category. While it is true that every South Park game up to this point has been atrocious, this one was made by Obsidian, who has a pretty fucking stellar résumé. There was no doubt that the game was going to be, at the very least, "okay".

The fact that nobody even knew this was a Koji Pro game until hours after its release is precisely why it was the biggest surprise of the year.

Yeah I agree that GTA5 on current gen is fucking impressive but there is nowhere near as much "added stuff" as Brad think there is.
The first person view and all the included DLC is pretty much the only "new" stuff on the re-release. The 360/PS3 was already pretty fucking impressive (except for the resolution).
