Playasia thingie was for this game, it got updated. I guess we will get the trailer Monday.
It's not like it was THAT MUCH more balanced than Namco one.
Oh, it was barely balanced at all but it was a lot more fun. It loses in roster and fan service, however.

Japanese games have a tendency to put 2P-onwards even on CPU though.
Until the official site says multiplayer, I'm cautious.

Seems like they're reusing a lot of old assets from ASB.
No surprise there. Watching the trailer, I couldn't help but get deja vu from the character models and some of the attacks. However, they're still great to look at & hopefully will look better having a full 3D environment (I saw Crazy Diamond going all DORARARARARARARA and it's shown from a first-person view, which was cool) and on the PS4.

And the hype train is moving again.
Watch the 2012 anime. That covers Part 1 and 2. After that watch the new anime which covers Part 3. Once you're done that you read Part 4-7.
I always say go to the source material first so..manga. Only problem is you have to read fan translations online since they're just starting now to officially translate part 1 and 2 (and Jojo is on part 8). If you don't want to do that then the anime is fairly good in their adaptation and is halfway through part 3 right now.
This actually isn't a bad plan lol. Watch up to 3 then read the rest. Forget my plan lol.
The anime has pretty much done a great job summarizing the manga, at least for Part 1 & 2 (which is a combined 24 episodes long). Part 3 is only half done & the 2nd season starts next month.

I'm fine with them using old assets if they are going to bring all characters from first game back and add requested characters (like Foo Fighter and Weather Report)
I would say to watch the 2012 show, but start reading the manga for part 3 onwards. Maybe watch the part 3 show alongside reading it.

The new anime serie is a fantastic place to start, it's available on crunchyroll after that you can jump to the manga if you want to continue the story

Some Updates, i asked the Mod of the Game Section of the JJBA Community if i could share his translations and news posted there, and he's cool with it!
First, Famitsu put out an article with some screens, but they're nothing new. In case anyone had doubt: You can choose your own team, and don't have to pick a pre-made Team.
If your Partner falls, you will "inherit their will", we saw some of this in the Trailer, like Stroheim blowing himself up, Caesar Death and so on, they will help you out in your fight, sounds like a great idea.
Also, the new Scan with new Characters should be out 21st this month BUT there are some rumors coming from 2ch, i reeeally hope they turn out to be true.

So basically it's more of a death than a K.O.? Weird. I mean, I'm assuming they'll just cal it a "Retire" again.
As for the magazine stuff,
that's nice about F.F.! Maybe Weather Report'll be her "canon partner" in the final game ala Joseph/Caesar or Jotaro/Kakyoin? I'm assuming Jolyne's getting Ermes, so she's just there to give F.F. a Part 6 partner for her reveal. Character-wise, if we are getting F.F., all we'll need is Speedwagon and I'll be set! I don't care if he doesn't have a Stand or mastery of the Ripple, he's my favorite character in the series, so I want to see him in action! And Yukako is definitely a weird choice. Personally, I'd just want Bruford; he has the same powers, but he's also an undead knight. I dunno, I just like him more. And "Adventure Mode" seems cool. I mean, I doubt it'll be much, but I've been wanting to see an "All JoJo's" crossover story someday.
Mikitaka? Hes my favorite character in jojo, but if he is in, he will be part of Josukes moveset, i doubt he has enough going to be a fighter himself. Unfortunately.
I also think with Diego being in, Sandman is a given.

A new Scan came out and got translated, not alot of new things, but some are pretty cool imo. It's not the one with characters, that one should be out in like 10 days.
-Stroheims Style is called "The Result of the Germanic Peoples high Intelligence", fucking awesome. He AND his Partner can summon Soldiers that help out in the fight.
-Development Progress: 20%
-A Mass "Story" of Crossover Characters. I guess original Story for the Game? Already sounds better than what we got with ASB.
-The fight is over when both characters on a team are "retired".

Holy crap, first Diego & Stromheim, now Speedwagon! I'm so close to getting everyone I wanted in All-Star Battle. Now confirm Weather Report (maybe have F.F. be his partner) & I will be content. Cannot wait to see a new trailer with him in action.
