It is pretty calm today, I got my Pit and Captain Falcon, I´m playing through Captain Toad and all I got to do is later on pick up my new Nico Robin Figure. Life is great.
I had a dream last night that I was able to buy amiibo for all Earhbound characters, and I was missing only Mr Saturn, I was so angry, haha!

Well... there IS the banpresto line of Mother 2 figures. Which had Ness, Paula, Jeff, Poo, Starman, Starman Jr, Starman DX, Tracy, Ness' Mom, King, Picky, Porky, Belch, Mr. Saturn, Dr. Saturn, Lucky, Gorgeous, Venus, and Dr. Andonuts... I think that's all of them. THEN there's the M1 figures...
Just sayin', there's some stuff out there if you're feelin' hyped for some EB figures in your life. =P

Is Zelda rare? I saw her at Walmart this evening but didn't know if she was hard to come by.
I had an amiibo dream last night too. I walked into a store that had all the pits and wfts you could want along with pretty much all the other rares. Some of them were even customized. I picked them up and went to check out when the store dissapeared and I was left standing in the rain. Woke up in a cold sweat. I need help.

I have the set of 5 Phonestraps gashapon, with Ness, Paula, Poo, Jeff and Mr. Saturn. I have yet to find a place to display them properly. I was thinking buying a small artificial plant or christmas tree and hang them there.,they would look awesome.
And let me get this chance to says: If I´m not able to get a Ness amiibo I´m going to throw a sissy fit.
Imagine if we get the Yarn Yoshi amiibo, squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I thought in the US all wave 3 will be Feb 1st. BUT wave 2 was such a disaster that every single dang store had different days of when they stocked it. Wave 2 really had no "release date" so I wouldn't count on Feb 1st to be set in stone for wave 3.
Please correct me if I'm wrong because I guess I need to know too.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I went to the store and decided to pick up these (but man Marth looks horrible, will probably trade him in the future... only got him 'cause you guys told me so)...
but man I can't believe I've just spent 75 on freakin' Amiibos... I feel a bit guilty to be honest.
So now I own WFT, Marth, Kirby (shipped from Amazon), villager, Fox, Mac, Pit, Samus and Capt.
Got Bowser and Toon Link on preorder.
But once again, I feel iffy about preording online 'cause MANY of those looked like shit and I had to carefully pick the best ones, for example 90% of Fox out there had a much more terrible molding line on the right side of the mouth, ruining an amazing figure imo.

I dreamed of a Bayonetfa amiibo, two versions: one in the Samus amiibo pose, and the other squatting on a clock tower while shooting her guns to the side.
Just made me wish for her in Smash Bros.

I also preordered for in store pickup with gamestop for wave 3. I have rarely, maybe never, seen an horror stories for gamestop with Amiibo so far. Might not get the preorders on the day of but no cancellations and stuff like that. I did not preorder from them for wave 2 though, I was late to the game. So hopefully wave 3 goes more smoothly but I have my doubts!
I didn't use the ship to home with gamestop because SAVER wouldn't work on preorders.

Besides my issue with the holiday help selling my Little Mac preorder because of stupid reasons GameStop is your best bet for Preorders.
Ah was wondering what the heck was up with that. Couldn't get the code to work but that makes sense. It's why I decided not to shop there for 3rd wave amiibos (except Shulk). Good to know for the future. Still sucks I have to pay shipping on my two Shulks though.
With how big March is for games, I think there might be a wave 4 releasing then.
Don't count your chickens before they hatch, sadly. If wave 2 is any indication, there could be delays and even canceled preorders. Probably not, I'm just saying though you may yet have some hunting left to do. I'm definitely not too confident despite having preorders for all of wave 3.

It's really fantastic to hear positive cancer stories. My wife has two aunts who beat cancer but one of my good friend's younger sisters passed away from cancer at a young age. Even though she was only in her late teens when she passed, she was one of the most optimistic and passionate people I think I will ever meet. She filled everyone's life with joy and even in her situation, always put others before her. I miss her quite a lot. You also seem to have a very bright soul filled with kindness. Cancer is such a terrible thing, but it's truly amazing to see what happens to the human spirit of those who battle it. Best of luck on your journey and always do what makes you happy.
As for amiibo, if you haven't already, I highly suggest you preorder as much of wave 3 as you can. As many on here have said, the thirst is real lol. I don't know if you saw this, but this helpful link gets pretty accurate track of all amiibo at the large retail sites:

When you go to Japan (jealous), make sure to continue the hunt if you have time! That way you could have a set to take out and play with

Just to add to this: Unless you want to collect your Amiibo in the package, there's no differences between the Amiibo from NA, EUR, and JP. The package is different, the actual Amiibo figures are identical in every way. You'll have a *MUCH* easier time finding rare Amiibo there, than in the US.

Maybe I should line up at best buy. My priority was Rosalina. Actually Target opens at 8 am near me and Best Buy is 10am. So I'll line up 7am at Target then run over to best buy.

I open the boxes anyway so he was just perfect.That nowinstock website is pretty cool and pretty much helped me secure Captain and Pit. I've also been using it to track the WiiU gamecube controller adaptor but I don't think I'll ever see in stock on that thing hahaha (laughing turning to tears)

That nowinstock website is pretty cool and pretty much helped me secure Captain and Pit. I've also been using it to track the WiiU gamecube controller adaptor but I don't think I'll ever see in stock on that thing hahaha (laughing turning to tears)
I think they have the adapter in stock or at least available for preorder overseas. Does anyone know if the EU one works on US Wii U's? I don't see why not...
I picked up Diddy and Donkey Kong at lunch today. So I have all of Wave 2 (aside from Little Mac, but he's in the mail) and I'm missing Mario, Yoshi, Kirby, and Pikachu, all of which are fairly common. I'm hoping to get a few amiibo for my birthday next month. I'm done buying until I go Rosalina hunting.

And then Amazon.ca should be shipping my Fox sometime soon, since I got a notice saying it should arrive between January 28 to February 4
And that'll be that for Wave 1+2
