Oh man Dedede better not become rare. He, Mega Man and Toon Link were my most-wanted that I hadn't already preordered (Meta Knight, Shulk, and Ike).

I've also heard amazon.uk is a good source for out-of-print amiibos in the States? Was thinking I'd use that for the few I missed out on (Marth, Pit and Captain Falcon).

amazon.fr is the only place taking Marth orders, with a 2-4 week wait. Everywhere else is out of stock.

Edit: Actually looks like amazon.de is getting more in next week for Marth.
 
Agghh!! Just noticed on nowinstock.com that the gamecube adaptor was in stock at Amazon for 5 min 2 days ago! Curse you work!
 
I just remembered...Nintendo uses the little accent marks for the "New" 3DS as well. It has a double meaning on everyones avatar if you are interested in getting one of the upgraded 3DS'.

Anyway, I think Toon Link will be really common. Link and Zelda are like Mario and Peach. They are not unique enough for the masses to care about getting it day one.
 
I've decided I'm taking credit for coining the phrase "the trinity" in reference to Marth, Wii Fit Trainer, and Villager.

I'd never seen it used before when I first coined it but now I see it in reference to the three pretty much on every site to do with Amiibo's.

maybe someone can Amiibofy my avatar. Also a little disappointed at the Ike downgrade but i guess it was inevitable. the placeholder looked way too good

edit: if someone could put the litlte amiibo things vertically over her untatooed eye so its like a tatoo over her right eye?

I tried getting all of the weights in there on your original. But the dimensions wouldn't work with the forums dimensions. And it would require compression to fit, or being squashed.

That looks awesome. Good job. I can prob make the same one in higher quality (I mean his pic). But I'll wait to see what he thinks of this one first.

Edit: looks like he liked it. I'll see if I can make it slightly more HD. But it looks great as is tbh. Perfect placement.

Not gonna lie, I was hoping that we would see some of the Amiibos show up on Club Nintendo. I have so many points there that I don't know what to do with. :<

I think if Amiibo continue to sell this well, they just might make a special Club Nintendo one. Although, it'll probably be exclusive in Japan. NA hardly ever get anything good.

Better not be anything like "Mr. Game & Watch exclusive to Club Nintendo for 2000 coins!" though since everyone would go crazy. I'd rather it just be an extra like classic Wario or pink hoodie Little Mac.

Agreed though that NA rewards suck. Disappointed that I was a few coins short during that Luigi's Mansion figurine promotion since it would've been something to spend them on. Heck, I would get a Smash poster set if they had some of the more interesting ones. (Mega Man, Shulk, Robin, Greninja)
 
Hey guys just wanted to let my 4 fellow Amiibros know that their friends are all boxed up. Got some air pockets left over from other packages I stuck in there. They should be good! Got 3 of the 4 paypals and they will go out Monday.

Thanks my Amiibros I change it asap - I like the one where his botty has the things but thanks so much for those who even attempted much appreciated :)

Considering LowSignal was very kind to sell me Wii Fit Trainer, I might go for Marth & Villager now since it'll give me time to earn back some money since they don't charge you until it ships. Wish there was a coupon/code I could use, because I kind of want Fox as well. Maybe I'll switch Villager for Fox since I feel like Fox has more use to me than Villager.
