Does anyone know which amiibo is the tallest and how tall it is? I think I'm going to customize a display case and I need to know how much space I need for the shelves.

I think the tallest one I want right now is Samus, but I'll probably go a little over that just to be on the safe side.

B&H is a high end photo / video store in New York City. They are top notch, but I'm not sure I would trust they are getting Amiibos. In fact I didnt know they sold video game related items. I know they sell computers and iPads and such. Didn't think they would sell Amiibos. Good luck to the people who ordered from them!

None should be taller than the packaging cubes, which are all the same among the amiibos. Just saw some photos on Go Nintendo of some wave 3miibos, and it looks like Ike stands almost as tall as the cube

I think they are working on or at least mentioned that they are thinking about some kind of custom service to incorperate the mii fighter amiibos.

B&H is a established store they are well known in NYC and all over for photography equipment. Its worth a shot to try you never know.

It's a really nice idea, but though it may just be the dark lighting in the photo, the eyes are strongly drawn to the "packaging" covering the shelves rather than the actual figurines.

Honestly, if this B&H thing doesn't go through (it most likely won't) I will probably just cut my losses and give up on the trinity. Definitely not worth the hassle, and I don't want to reward scalpers.

Part of me wonders if they'll continue the "Mewtwo = Club Nintendo" trend by having the Platinum reward this year be a Mewtwo amiibo.

Heck, I wouldn't mind an amiibo being a reward period. I'm still hoping they'll do something like an alt costume amiibo like Wireframe Mac, Male Wii Fit Trainer, Female Robin, or Classic Outfit Wario.

Buying Mewtwo's Amiibo doesn't necessarily mean it has to unlock the character for you since an Amiibo is just an AI. Granted there might be some issues there such as unlocking custom specials.

It's just a placeholder charge to make sure I have the funds, then won't actually charge me until the order ships, right? Could've sworn it said they don't change you until your order was sent out, because it says "Your account will only be charged when we ship the item. "

Edit: Heads up, Toys R Us is doing a sale until the 17th where if you buy $40 or more on Amiibo (or Disney Infinity or Skylanders), you get $10 off. So for 3 amiibo, that's $42 + tax, so it'd drop down to $32, making it about $10.66 for each of them.

Edit 2: Speaking of B&H, someone on reddit did a livechat with a representative & stated this:

Part of me kind of wishes I ordered Villager as well, but if I get Marth & Fox, then I'm totally content since Villager doesn't work in any games that I care about at the moment & probably will be used for the Animal Crossing Wii U game Nintendo will eventually make.

Kind of hope that SMT x FE crossover (if we actually hear more about it) makes use of the Fire Emblem amiibos. That'd motivate me to get Ike, one of my SSB mains.

I wouldn't, honestly. They are still taking preoders which tells me they're not even monitoring the situation, it's an order free for all. There will be a lot of cancellations even if a very few are honored. There is no way they are getting that big of a shipment. Unless we are to believe that Nintendo set aside several thousands of these for just this one store in New York when they can't even send their own Nintendo World Store that many. Or the other option is that Nintendo is planning to distribute the trinity again, which I really don't see since we haven't heard any rumors from other retailers yet.
