Kirby is just uncommon. Link is regionally rare but I think stores got restock on him.

Fox and Samus seem rare now and Future shop and Best Buy sites don't list them now.

Poor wording on my part. If you paid by Paypal it charged you immediately rather than when the items ship. So where as those who went through checkout will never see the money in their account drop, we already did. A cancellation implies money back, hence "boost".

I should really re-read my posts before posting them. Sorry.
 
Oh lol, I've just checked my preorders and found that I accidentally ordered Rosalina twice. Oops. I might head to EB Games next time I'm in the city and cancel one of them (judging by the fact that she and Bowser have been the only ones available to preorder for quite some time, she's one of the more common ones in Australia).

I think it's getting a bit out of hand when I can't even keep track of which ones I've ordered from which store. >_< Gah. I need to save my money.

I was so confused for a second...then I saw Australia and it all clicked
 
CF just arrived in the mail yesterday! Now I'm only missing Villager, Pit, Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi. I figure the last three will be around for a while, and Azula is gonna hook me up with Villager, so now I just need to find Pit! :)

For anyone who got amiibos from Amazon.de, is the packaging really different? The product pictures show at least the front being in English for the amiibos.

Aah, sweet. I got a Villager there too and I wasn't sure if it would say "Villager" on the front or something like "Bewohner." I got Marth and WFT from there as well, and I'm tempted to get a Fox now too.
 
Just purchased Pikachu and Yoshi. And with that, wave 1 and 2 are complete.

And I will never complete wave 3 because I don't have Rosalina and Lucario pre-ordered :(

Cheers for the tip, a local one had 1 Villager left and quickly reserved it, picked it up and thought I'd might as well see what else they got since I'm here and there was 1 Wii fit trainer hiding in a bunch of Fox's

Currently living in Japan, and a bunch of my friends back in Canada asked me to buy them a bunch of amiibos. I feel so dirty.

Pit and Villager are stupid rare here, though we might get a re-print.
I found Captain Falcon used in a hobby shop for 800 yen ($8 CDN/$7 USD)

Yeah, it's not worth it as much unless you get a big order or a bunch of amiibos that are overpriced here which is why I'm debating getting just a Fox right now. I got the Holy Trinity for $60 instead of like $150 though, so that was definitely worth it.

Can confirm, can't find Villager anywhere. Do you know of any retail stores or sites I can check stock online?

I need WFT and Villager, but I'm just tempted to find a good Marth...I think I shouldn't pursue it.

Anyways I can't really afford to buy anything else yet I think, sadly.

Yeah, just the US. I saw a few Marths at the local Game a couple of weeks back. Still not widely available, and you'll need to pay a premium online, but not as crazy as in the US.

On the other hand, I've never seen a Mac on store shelves, and he's the most expensive on Amazon (£50 atm).

I think he's getting there in the US too though, if not already up there, with the original The Three Amiigos.

My history with the Earthbound series is weird, to say the least. A friend at the time (who's family had immigrated from Japan to Canada) had introduced me to the series with the NES/Famicom Mother 1. I didn't play Earthbound or Mother 3 until recently (when it was re-released on the Wii U Virtual Console & emulation from the Starman fansite), & despite those games being superior in every shape & form, I have a greater emotional attachment to that game than I did with the others. I still cry like a baby when I listen to "Eight Melodies", so you can imagine how I had responded when this remix of "Magicant/Eight Melodies" had popped up on the Earthbound stage on SSB3DS.

Anyway, for all those scalpers out there, all I ask is that you bunch don't act like a bag of dicks and be considerate to others.

Actually, it IS written "bewohner", "villageois" and so on on the box. The word written in large font is indeed Villager (like in Japan I think), but it's translated in 6 or 7 european langagues on the top-right (on the others, there's usually a single name). It's small, though.

I posted a picture in the topic, but it's kinda buried, now...

Who the hell is b&h and why do people trust they have amiibo? When did ordering backorders become a thing? I wouldnt trust that site getting me amiibo if my life dependent on it
 
Lol I was so tired I ripped open my Yoshi Amiibo, didn't cut it properly like I usually do.

Haven't opened any since 2 weeks ago. It's nice to have something greener than Link in my current opened collection anyways.

They had no limit so people were trying to put orders through for like 10 each of all the rare ones lol. Even if they have any they were probably gone in the first handful of orders.
