Thanks man. Yeah, I'm all in the clear it seems. I still have to do check ups every other month. But yeah, this was like THE final appointment so to speak. Everything looks great. So happy, I want to cry.
And now I have the Holy Trinity being delivered today. Couldn't have asked for a better day TBH.

That is what the manager had told me at the EB Games I visit, as his brother (who manages a GameStop in Chicago) had mentioned to me that they had stopped taking pre-orders for the Shulk & King Dedede Amiibo, along with several other stores in that area.

EDIT: Also, it's okay to cry, I'm sure this was a big fight you went through, but you won! So it's the good kind of crying.
It was a form of Leukemia. Adults rarely get it, it's more common in children. No one in my family has ever had it. And I never knew adults could even get this type. So I was totally floored when I got hit with it a year and a half ago. Had to do a bunch of rounds of chemo. For some reason I wasn't able to kick it. I got worse and worse. Also my body didn't take ot the chemo well (not everyone reacts to it the same way), and I got really sick.
Was the worst time of my life. At one point I got down to 90 pounds. Worst part is, my cousin committed suicide right in the middle of my treatment. She was the only support I had in real life. She was suffering a life long battle with chronic depression. So her death basically broke my heart, and made me give up. I was very close to throwing in the towel. I lost the will to survive. I'm an atheist and had a falling out with my parents 5 years ago. And when my family found out, my mom actually told me God gave me cancer and told me it was a punishment for my sin. So my own family wouldn't lift a finger to help me. So my only family/physical support was gone. I had nothing. It was so much pain, suffering. I was so alone, and so scared.
But GAF held me up. They became my family. They kept me going. GAF doesn't really even know the extent to which they have helped me.
One day turned into two days. Two days turned into a week. And before I knew it, months went by and it eventually worked and I kicked it. That is why I have so much love and energy, and excitement in this thread. Why i want to help anyone out, and make them feel good. Why I want this community to succeed. Because collecting Amiibos has helped me out during my depression post-cancer and during remission. I had PTSD given all the trauma from the cancer, and the things my family did. I struggled a lot after I kicked the cancer (when I should have been happy). But my GF encouraged me to collect Amiibos. And it's been so much fun, and brought me so much joy. And I love this AmiiboGAF community. I feel like I have friends I can talk to. I feel like I have a place I belong.
Sorry, getting a bit emotional. You guys just make me so happy. I don't even know what I could do to express my gratitude and what I feel. I'll just continue to do my best, and try to make this the best sub-community on this site. To help make everyone else feel happy too. Because that's what you guys do for me.

They told me today that Shulk preorders had been removed from the system.
I'm really hoping that if he unlocks something cool in Xenoblade CX they do another run.
Ay. That's just horrible. Wish I had been part of that faction of GAF whom you considered your support group. In any case, very happy for you.
My mom was diagnosed with cancer recently and it was scary times for a couple months. Luckily we found out it's very early and she most likely will not even need chemo. She's starting her radiation treatment pretty soon.
Not everyone was directly supporting me. However, every morning when I was too tired to get up, or when I felt so bad I didn't want to. I would use my ipad and always read GAF. And it was being able to be apart of this community. It was enjoying all of your posts and seeing people get to talk about their favorite hobby they are passionate about. THAT got me through every day. Because it brought me joy. It too my mind off things.
So many people helped me, and don't even know it. Just everyone being themselves, and being apart of this community. That WAS my support. It wasn't just the people that actually reached out and directly talked to me. Also, you guys are supporting me now. Believe it or not, but dealing with PTSD and dealing with your life after cancer, can be just as hard as when you fought cancer. I never knew this before. But it's so hard, coming to terms with all the things cancer has done to you or taken from you. I went through a depression, and had a lot of struggles emotionally after kicking cancer.
And you guys are playing such a major role in making me happy and allowing me to get my mind off things. Seriously. So you guys ARE my support. And ARE being so pivotal in making me happy and allowing me to get better. You guys are here now, and that's just as important as anything before that.
AmiiboGAF in a lot of ways, kind of gave me that boost I needed to get going. It gave me new life. It's probably why I'm always so energetic and happy and positive in here. Because it really does so much for me, and makes me feel so happy.
Stories like yours are what make me wish I had more money to help others, especially to give back to the people who've been helpful to me or others, offline or online. I had some people who did their best to help out my mother when she had cancer until her unfortunate passing on my 20th birthday in Sept. 2011 & I appreciate all they've done for me & my family. Now, I want to be able to show my appreciation to those here on GAF, either be here, in all the giveaway threads, or other community threads.Sorry, getting a bit emotional. So the only thing I've ever needed, was just friends and people that care about me. And I have plenty of that on GAF, and in this very thread.
But because I'm well off financially, I always do what I can to help others out. I just want to make others have a good life too.I appreciate you looking out for me on the extra Amiibos. As bad as US seems to have it with amiibos, Canada sees to have it much worse in places.
I preordered wave 3 there as a backup if I didn't get my BestBuy or Futureshop orders in. Not feeling optimistic with this lingering about now. I can only hope for the best now.

I'm a bit salty, to be honest, I made my pre-order during Christmas, hoped they could find one by then but sounds like it's a no.

Sorry dude. I just sent out my extra 2 to Amiibros on here today. But I am hoping with the rumor of the Jan 15th TRU release some members will grab several and help each other out. The walmart box that's just under 12 inches fits nice and you could probably get 2 in there if you flip them around and only .58 cents. I packed mine with recycled Amazon air pockets and sandwiched them between comic book backer boards. I was able to send out Priority USPS for $6 to 8 bucks each so that way it's insured and has tracking. The 25 I asked for covered the figure, box, postage, and a little gas money for the buy trip and USPS trip. Dealing with the USPS lines can suck, took me 20 minutes today but it feels really nice to help out a fellow Gaf member and Amiibro. I am excited for them to get them because it feels so nice to finish off a collection and I love being able to help. Not sure how much more shipping to Canada would be but I am sure we can figure this out in Azula's database. Again I implore any Amiibros to pick up extras and help each other it feels good and that's what a community is for. I have all Wave 3 preordered but know well that something will most likely go wrong and I have a nice feeling that one of you will probably have my back.

I'd like to help for sure, but in Quebec I never, ever ever ever saw one of the rare ones on the shelves yet, I'm talking about WFT, Marth, Villager, Diddy, Falcon and Little Mac. Well I saw one Little Mac and it's the one on my shelf that a colleague spotted it hidden behind a guy at the counter that was seemingly keeping it on the side for him at TRU.
The ones I saw so far since everything started are Pikachu, Link, Samus, DK , Yoshi, Kirby and Fox.
Shulk isn't available for preorders yet, neither is Sonic, Dedede, Meta Knight (available in Japan) and Megaman

In my opinion if you have one it is Marth dammit ha. Looks like that sword does have a bit of a curve but it happens to the best of us.

I cant wait till the dust settles on Wave 3 and possibly 4 so I can see what I can give up. At this point, even though I just mailed out 2 Pits and 2 Falcons to 4 of you Amiibros, I am too afraid to give up some of my extra figures as I want to keep them for trade if I come up short on any of them. I have 2 European Marths, 1 European Villager, and 1 US Little Mac. I know they would make others happy but I have to make sure I have trade. Hope all of you understand ha

If you can't find Shulk, hit me up. I preordered two since I wanted to have one in box because Xenoblade is huge for me. I'm near the GTA so I can't imagine shipping will be too bad. I'll look into how to ensure it doesn't get damaged (I still have air packets and such from other packages so I could use that in an appropriate box).
Got some info from an acquaintance that works at Target about Rosalina.
They've been getting pretty regular shipments of restock, but often selling out of nearly every figure within a week. Normally they have games as early as a week before release date, but the figures for Wave 1 and 2 they got usually the Saturday before release. If you know your Target is clueless, might want to start poking around on the 31st to see if any slipped out by accident.

I'm not 100% on the position of each amiibo. They need to be straightened out, and maybe they are a little too cramped. We'll see. I have 3 other shelves that can roughly hold 25 amiibos. So I have to figure out how I'll do this. Just wanted to get them all together and show I have 1 and 2 now done.
