Haha, I'm sorry. It's a running gag I've established, for some reason. Any time I'm unsure of the gender of the person I am quoting or responding to, I add the female equivalent after the male version of what I write in spoilers (or vice versa, such as him
/her?
, amiibros
/amiigals?
, etc.) It's usually followed by a spoiler-ed question mark, implying that I'm unsure what gender they are and I am adding that in just in case.

I love everyone in our community, male or female. I love our amiibros. But I love our amiigals!

Their Marketplace prices are laughable, but I've managed to preorder or order most of my collection from them for a tenner each. Just wondered if they'd become less reliable now for preordering, in which case I won't bother watching them for any new Amiibo going up, or for older preorders coming back on.
 
Hey Happy Bday Azula! Don't feel too bad about Rosalina. I think at this point, there are more people here that don't have her preordered than do. We can all make the mad rush to Target on opening day together and share our horror stories lol.

Does anyone know why Nowinstock.NET does not list Best Buy for wave 4?

Prob gonna change it back. A friend actually asked me to make it for them. But then they changed their mind. I was only testing it out (the dimensions, how the edges looked with the transparent background).

Then I realized, it oddly was how I felt by not having a Rosalina pre-order. So it made me laugh. People seemed to think it was funny too. Hah. So maybe I'll keep it until I get Rosalina :P

Then back to pretty Miyazaki avatar. :D

Sigh. I wonder if US companies are also not doing them today. Also...why did EBGames in AUS do them yesterday (well technically the 15th over there). GRRR.
 
Ugh, I am starting to feel really down about missing the Majora's Mask new 3DS. It's just all doom and gloom on the internet if you wanted that thing. I don't know what I was thinking, I should have jumped on Gamestop the second they showed the thing in the direct. I guess my other 2 Zelda 3DS (OOT and LBW) will never get to sit next to the MM one. Thankfully my friend ordered me the Skull Kid statue edition of the game in time though.

Unfortunately he's the rarest in the UK with him being sold for a shit ton of money ($60-$70). He's the hardest to find. I'm in the process of sorting out a list for the UK people since we don't have one.

We are all together as one. :D

My GF is the one that got me into collecting. She knew how I was struggling with my remission/PTSD. She knew collecting would be fun. I couldn't be happier. I met so many wonderful people in this thread because of her. As well as have a collection I love looking at, and makes me happy.

It really took my mind off things. So yeah, def no ? there. :)

Yeah, I was hoping to get a LE system since I've never gotten one for a handheld (heck, the only LE system I have is that FF13 360 where the HDD has the game's name on it & that's it) and I'm disappointed how I couldn't pre-order in store since I wanted to trade my OG 3DS in to help with my budget and such. Heck, I still gotta see if I can even transfer the stuff over before trading it in & getting the $75 credit.

Oh well, the inside of the system isn't all that different, so I'll probably just stick with black again. Least I was able to get the MM 3D + statue from Amazon while it was still up.

Yeah I definitely didn't expect this to be honest. The Link Between Worlds 3DS XL was really easy to get and I remember it on store shelves for like a month. Do you think there's any chance Walmart or Target may get some of this MM one? They had the LBW one.

I got my boyfriend into collecting figures in general as well. lol I collect a bunch of scale figures and he liked my collection so much he decided he wanted to start. I'm probably more into the amiibo hunt and community than he is (I see him read this thread a lot, but I think he's only posted in here like twice maybe?), but he does get the thirst sometimes. Overall, though, I wear the amiibo pants in the relationship!

Hard to say. If Best Buy had it, it seems possible they might get it as well, especially since it never said it was GS exclusive, unlike the MH4U one (which while the design is kind of cool, I'm not into MH nor want to spend more money than I already plan on doing).

& of course, GameStop is only doing the $75 or $100 trade-in value for OG 3DS/XL until the day of New XL's launch...

Hopefully. This was going to be tough to get to begin with. Target never had a webstore for Canada. Our only option was instore. And if the closest Target to a person is 4 hours drive away (my scenario) there was just no way to pick it up at retail.

Hopefully they move the stock to Walmart instead. I can get it at Walmart.
 
I gave up the dream of completing the sets.

In my home town there's only one store that sells amiibos . During mid december there was an amiibo craze (yep, it reached even remote northern mexico) and all figures except for dk, peach, mario and pikachu were gone. After christmas only a few dk and peach figures were there.

Yesterday I saw that the amiibo space dissapeared and in mid of the disney iinfinity display, 2 DKs are all that remain.

Wave 2 never arrived here and according to the store employees they won't get any more amiibos in the near future.

My only options now are to search on stores when I have a business trip to the capital (unreliable) or order online (expensive).

Well, at least I have all wave 1 (except Marth) -_-

Hard to say really. Are they going to bother to stock things here in Canada when they could just redirect them to the stores in the states?

Store exclusives in the states isn't uncommon. When I was buying Skylanders for my kids during the first game Target had an exclusive (Whirlwind?) that never reached Canada until much later that year.

Sucks about Target. My local Target smelt weird though.

Gamestop doesn't have anything official yet. The rep there believes sometime next week or two, nearer the time that Wave 3 goes out. His reasoning was that they'd be taking preorders for the next wave while people were buying their wave 3 options.

Take that with a grain of salt of course.

the article i read said they would try to get employees minimum 16 weeks of wages and benefits coverage. Pretty good for retail, no way in hell they'd do that in the US.

Oh, boo. If that's true, I hope amazon or someone gets theirs up before then at least. I start my externship on Tuesday and won't be able to keep an eye out all day after that. :(
 
Well fuck. I wish Nintendo would just tell us if pre orders are 2 weeks away. That way we aren't all waiting every day not knowing. Come on. Communicate with your consumers.

So I'm spending my current money on a sale.

So if it gets up on preorder and sells out at amazon or my local GS before I get money, I blame you.

Seriously this feels so stressful. Why you do this shit NOA. NOE needs to be put in charge of NOA damnit.
