Marth is getting a rerelease and Ike hasn't been released yet. You're practically paying double.

Well I'll be looking for both Lucario and Rosalina. I have a couple of Captain Falcons, a Pit, a Diddy on hand. An extra Metaknight, and Shulk on order. If I can get a 1:1 trade to get either figure that'd be great. Otherwise I'll throw them up on ebay to offset the aftermarket price of Lucario and Rosalina.

I'm aware of the re-release for Marth. It doesn't guarantee me one, though. I just don't have any trust that Nintendo will produce enough to meet demand. History has show that.

It's not really a matter of money at this point. Since I've decided to only collect certain ones, I don't mind paying more for them.


Edit - I'll probably just wait though. I change my mind a lot about gaming-related stuff. =P

Scalpers might try to pick up 2nd shipments but the fact that there's more will drive down the aftermarket price.
 
Just a FYI, if you import, you will probably get a call from your bank for protection purposes. If you do, make sure to confirm you made the purchases or else they suspend your card. Just safety precautions.

God damn it.

I was able to get everything I wanted from Wave 1 at Nintendo World at my leisure but I still haven't been able to get Falcon and Pit. I went in yesterday and they said they hadn't gotten either of them in since the holidays.

I had though Nintendo World was going to be my solution to Amiibo madness. Apparently even they can't keep up with this demand.

Oh well, I will continue to hope that they will re-issue the Smash line in 2015. It would seem silly not to. I can understand why they would want to choke supply to build up demand in the short term, but this doesn't seem like a good long-term strategy.

It makes no sense because i placed two orders the same day, 12/17 - both auths fell off on 12/25, and the rosalina order was cancelled today.

The other order with Ike and DeDeDe had another authorization done yesterday 1/15.

They must have oversold or fucked up somehow. I currently don't have any funds in the paypal but there's a backup payment method linked that it takes from without issue in every other case..

Well if there is ever a Nintendo world exclusive I'll be counting you to pick an extra up for me. Ill pay in advance of course. But the nearest Nintendo World is a 1000+ miles away from me :(
 
AAAAAH Shit son! My Rosalina shipped from amazon.fr yesterday and I didn't even notice! Say she'll be in by the 2nd too! that's is pretty freaking awesome if I do say so myself.

I was determined tot make sure you finished out your collection regardless. But then I saw you give up your Pit to someone else (which you were going to use to trade for Marth). So I had to get you Marth.

Money isn't an issue for me. So I don't want you to pay for anything. It's free. I know, this community will continue to help each other out in completing our collections (since we aren't collecting to make money, and we have to battle scalpers and other people just buying to throw around).
 
My amazon.fr Rosalina is preparing for shipment. Glad I chose to import, I might still look for another of her locally but the stress of finding at least one is totally off my shoulders.

Nintendo World is nice for some things, but other items still require getting in line at 2am.

Hmm...the only two amiibos I don't currently have on order are Rosalina and Meta Knight. I sure hope there is some semblance of ample stock on both in 2 weeks.
 
No cancellations from any store exclusive yet, although I did miss Rosalina. Still, got a friend that works at Target, so I'll see if they can hook me up. I'll gladly ship out to AmiiboGaf in the US if I get extra!


Now my only concern is if Wave 4 goes up for preorder the last week of the month...I'm going to be on vacation and won't be around a computer (or my phone) too often to check! Hope it goes up next week or in Feb.

When did the February 1st date for NA Wave 3 get confirmed and how?
 
I have 2 Rosalina's, one with Amazon.it and the other with GAME, I think my Amazon one shipped but I was gonna cancel. Oh well.

The fucked thing about the rarity on these is that they've been recently featured by Nintendo for games other than Smash. They're basically saying "Look at these features! See them? You can't have them!"

Maybe it didn't. I just woke up and saw some people saying "well, nice to know it's Feb 1st. Will go to the store then".

I saw like 2-3 posts saying this lol. "I will get Shulk on Feb 1st". So I'm not really sure tbh where it was confirmed. Maybe someone else can tell us. I know a bunch of info came out last night from Nintendo (about Wave 4's release, and some other tidbits).

I think there was also a post yesterday or something saying how an employee at some store said that they had the wave 3 shipments in the back and they were all clearly labeled Feb 1.

They never ask me for any input, it just usually goes through. I would advise you to stop and maybe recheck your info or speak with you bank or someone else in this thread who aren't from the UK and have successfully ordered from GAME in regards to how their order process went. I had issues in the past with my card and by inserting info your card doesn't seem to like, you could screw something up as it probably equates to a failed attempt and might raise a flag with your bank. Not trying to scare you lol, but just make sure the info is correct, and maybe ask your bank why that is happening.

My only confirmation is that I finally got to talk to the Target Rep. for the midsouth and he confirmed for me via memo that Wave 3 will be on shelf on Feb. 1 and that they had some in back he wouldnt say how many.

Noticed Sonic and Meta Knight are also pushed back. It's probably switched to a Jan/Feb wave now. Good. Easier on the wallet.

Edit: Yeah, 5 amiibos are in Feb now - Sonic, Mega Man, Meta Knight, Shulk and Dedede.
