I did the rounds this afternoon in the Belton/Temple areas of TX. Target, Walmart, GameStop, Best Buy and HEB. They all had plenty of stock, but just the usual suspects. Maybe I'll make time to check out the closest TRU when I get off work, though I don't anticipate finding anything worthwhile.

My Best Buy had two breakdancing Peach. She must not be as set into her slot as the rest of the amiibo, because it's the only character I've actually seen loose in stores.
I've been in the other room playing games with my bf and brother and have a lot of thread to catch up on!

I wish I could do more (I'm in the midst of getting some dental work done and I have no insurance, so a lot of extra money is being put towards that), but I want to do what I can.
My friend in Germany ordered me a villager from there (since my card doesn't wanna work there) and I don't really regret the decision. Cheaper than scalping plus they don't get the satisfaction of getting my money. It's best, though, if you order multiple amiibos (so either other ones you need or maybe even a small group order?) so that the shipping cost for one amiibo isn't quite so crazy.
Also, just saw the Rosalina/Canada news- that super sucks. I hope they figure out some way for everyone in Canada to have a chance to get her. My bf is going to go looking for her when she's released and if he can find any extras, I'll see if he can grab a couple. We live in a small area, so we're hoping there won't be too many people waiting for the store to open to grab her (but who knows).
I hope that preorders opening Monday thing is true, too. Would be perfect as that is my last free day before my externship starts.
Although TBH, I would have paid any price to help out kierwynn. I consider her my friend. She's been so nice and kind tot me. And has showed me that she's willing to help other people out here too. And so I was willing to do whatever it took to help her complete her collection. So it was totally worth it to me.

Pre-emptively Welcome to Pittsburgh! You might want to separate exploring the city and hunting for Amiibo, as that'll quickly turn into exploring the suburbs for Amiibo. Toys R Us and Best Buy form a nice circle around downtown. Target and Gamestops are just about everywhere.
I bought mine on amazon.de along with Lucario but now it's unavailable on both amazon.de and amazon.fr....sorry man.

Target Canada has no online store... We were already a bit stressed out because we could not pre-order her. Now we don't even have a store that will carry her... =(
She was the one I was looking the most forward to and I really want NA packaging...

This weekend ill hit the City of Industry/West Covina Side of places. Pick up some rare ones if I find them and hook some gaffers here up. I got them all luckly but i wouldnt mind helping out.

I would really like to get a definitive answer on this, too. Shulk is one of my top priorities outside of the Fire Emblem figures.
I think I saw her as available on nin-nin-game when I looked this morning.
I think Target Canada never even took online preorders. Think their only chance has always been grabbing one in store, but alas.

I think they're talking about Europe/Japan. They split Wave 3 into two subwaves there. Here, it's always been all of wave 3 on Feb 1.

As far as I know, the first 6 (Rosalina, Lucario, Bowser, Ike, Sheik and Toon link) always had a 23th january as official release date in Europe and the 5-6 others 20th february (while it's february 1st for the whole wave in US?)
Since they were talking specifically of Amazon France, I was talking about Europe (and indeed, they gives a release date of january 17th, now, while others shops still have january 23th)

I hope so! I know it will probably change nothing but I will send a sweet e-mail to Nintendo Customer Service and tell them how much Canada needs to not be left out of Rosalina's grace. Haha!

I grabbed all the Wave 3 exclusives a week ago. And it was regular priced. They charged me 7 days after my order though. Although supposedly that is standard with Pay Pal (to charge before they ship). I'll keep my fingers crossed, and hope that she gets shipped out at the end of Jan.

My amiibo days are now over, friends.
My Uncle passed away November 21, yeah, Nintendo day. He didn't have anyone other than myself. Problem is, he didn't have any money and was only living off of disability because he was a double amputee. Needless to say, he had nothing saved up. I have been unemployed for almost a year now, but I still had some money left in my bank account. I used it to cover the funeral expenses. Now, I'm very nearly out of cash completely. Also found out today, that he is not entitled to the Canadian death benefit. I was hoping that at least that little bit would keep my head above water for a short time.
Sadly, I missed out on most of these figures. The one that hurts most is the Villager. My little brother loves that one mainly because when he was playing Animal Crossing on Wii, that is what his character looked like. I feel like I let him down.
Keep me in your thoughts, amiibo-gaf! But mostly, if you can, please post many pics of your amiibos. I'll live vicariously through all of you.

What I'm doing - the moment I see a Wave 3 amiibo from the US on ebay, reddit, or here, I'm hitting stores up daily on my way to work. Feb 1 is just the latest I'll start.
