Ports of every released X1 exclusive to PC.
Every X1 game released simultaneously on PC going forward.
Every game cross-buy enabled between X1 and PC.
Cross-play between the X1 and PC versions of any game that has online features.
Local streaming from any Windows 10 device to any Windows 10 device.
Internet streaming (Online/Gaikai) of any game to any Windows 10 device.
"Virtual console" type service with releases of old Xbox and Xbox 360 games to buy, also cross-buy.
X1 controller wireless dongle for PC.
I'm not setting myself for disappointment or anything.

As an operating system? No, I think it's probably going to be pretty good. For those of us PC gamers who have seen all the promises Microsoft made and abandoned time and again? Sure.
Microsoft tried to gouge PC gamers with GFWL and pay for online fees, but it wasn't accepted. They fled to the XBOX. Over time they constantly have made promises that they finally care about PC gaming. They never kept their side of the bargain and thus lost the trust of some PC Gamers. Do you really think it would be that simple for Microsoft to win the trust back?

Certainly possible. Similar situation to Ryse and Dead Rising 3. Developer owns the IP rights, Microsoft just picked up the publishing aspect.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if they made Windows 10 a free upgrade for everyone? I'm talking XP, 7, 8, 8.1 -> 10 for free.
It would mean huge and immediate impact and its marketplace will have real weight and meaning at launch. Such a strategy could bag them a fortune... but potentially set an unwanted precedent.

Funny you say that, because I just got a GTX 970 myself. Would indeed be incredible, as long as it's not a similar situation to the Halo 2 Vista release ft. GFWL, ugh.

Well Ryse got an outing and I know that Forza 5 works on PC but hasn't been released so you never know.

That would be strange though. I mean, Insomniac are not known for their PC interest unlike Crapcom and Crytek.
It's a game which, even though I'm not interested in, would benefit tremendously from 60fps.
I hope it happens for those who would like to play this game on PC.

As for Halo... After the past five or so years of quality dropping combined with Halo's rapidly shrinking relevance in the FPS genre, something tells me that MCC on PC will put about as much dent into the Xbox brand as CoD being available on other platforms does. Halo's not a console-seller anymore - CoD co-marketing deals are.
Oh, BTW, throw me on dat PC Master Race train.
