The Order 1886 official twitter account tweeted this website: http://theorderexposed.com/
Looks pretty interesting..

Fan made or viral marketing? Too high quality for it to be fan made.

With how much emphasis they've put on making things seem accurate to the Victorian Period I don't see them leaving it unless there's some kind of frame about someone finding out what happened then. I think the modern marketing materials are just to illustrate the lifespan of the knights and the lycans. All this focus on modern times leads me to believe a few things are possible. A. The game is told from a modern time perspective, as someone is reading stories written about the order from the past. B. The game has some time jumping around that they haven't shown off at all and are keeping secret. Or C. If it does well they can do a sequel in more modern times.
NOVEMBER FIFTEEN
LH had an urgent conversation with SP in the Royal Gallery for a quarter hour. LH decarted (sic) the palace immediately afterwards in a carriage I was unable to follow.
NOVEMBER SIXTEEN
SP arrived at three entering discreetly at Black Rod Garden where he was greeted by LH and ushered into the Royal Court drawing room. I did not observe them leaving however. At quarter five, the room was unoccupied.
I was starting to wonder what the email was for.
Seems like Ian is missing. But he left this code:
UcrxtfwvRahfzVuyzwXspgbIsfedXgys
He said it's the first of four.
He also posted Darwin's "On the Origin of the Species by Means of Natural Selection: Or, The Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life" with a code saying OTP 54614.
EDIT: I think that Alexandria is just a fan, if you go to her profile and then go to her tumblr page, and it's really filled with GIF's from lots of games and movies and stuff.

OTP might refer to One Time Password. It could be that the long code I posted is somehow cracked with that number and using Darwin's work.
God I love marketing like this.
God I love marketing like this.
It is just so so fun to crack and follow, at least when done well. I'm yet to join in on a bad ARG![]()
It reminds me of MGS3 period Kojima.
I missed one of the posts on the site, it mentions a cipher method by the 'other' Frank Miller. That method being 'One-Time Pad'.
So the long string of characters + 54614 + One-Time Pad = Something.
i dont trust this jim guy at all.
Damn, I didn't see that one.
The numbers refer to chapter-page-line or something along those lines?
Love this kind of marketing. In a way reminds me of the older days where you could read the instruction booklet with some story in it.

So I found a page that could decrypt the OTP, but it seems like this is not the text to be decrypted:

Do we know if this game is based entirely in 1886? What if it jumps between time zones and that's why we've seen very little of it?

So this clearly is meant to tie in with the BCO 'news broadcasts' from a couple of weeks ago, which featured a Lycan corpse being dug up, and a dude in a hoodie who gets hit byt a car, drinks 'a black liquid' and then runs off, seemingly unharmed.
Said virals...

Also - top lulz at TTTT in the YT comments who starts going on about how the lycan body is a Nephilim...jesus there are some mouth-breathing idiots out there...
