Must be crazy to have these games come out now

Thanks Sony and Double Fine for ruining something I've waited for so long.
Well I submitted for my refund.
Absolutely disgusted by Sony support for providing misinformation and for Double Fine that hasn't done anything to help as Sony fucks up the launch of this game.
I was so excited to play this game and now I am not at all. I am upset, sad and angry.
I don't want to revisit this wonderful game with this awful experience hanging over my head.
I'll buy it on Steam in the future and play it at some point.

=(
Seriously though, when has there even been an official announcement that the theme will be available for free for non-preorders?Well I submitted for my refund.

This seems thread worthy btwPosted yet?
Nice read on polygon that fleshes out more of the details about how the remaster came about. Bless Boyes.
Totally forgot that Gio Corsi (guy on stage with Tim at psx) used to work for Lucasarts.

This game is shit.
All this over a THEME?
Is this just because of the theme? Because that's a little silly...

Someone may have posted this here, but I'm posting it anyway -
Since restoring licenses and restarting or trying to manually DL the game directly from the link on the PSN website did absolutely nothing for me, this worked:
1. Go to the PSN store website on your PC
2. Highlight your user name and select download list from the drop down menu.
3. You will see two Grim Fandango downloads - one for PS4 and one for PS3/Vita.
4. Select download to PS4 and you will get a notification on your PS4 that its downloading.
GFG.
The problem is, many of us don't even have the game listed in their on-site libraries for some reason, so this won't work.
yup the writing still holds up
Day of the Tentacle was released in 1993. I was 11...lol it is pretty crazy
Gio was only at LEC from 09 to 13, well after 1993.
Im a big pc gamer and i loved me some lucas arts adventure games. However i never played grim fandango. Picked up on steam and im enjoying it so far but this isnt in the same league as full throttle or the dig... at least not yet, admittedly im pretty early on.
Does it get better? (Im at the petr. Forest)

It does get better but it might just not be your thing. Especially if you're thinking The Dig is better.

First timer here, can I move Manny any faster on PS4?
Ive always heard how good this game is and I think i would like it. Anyone have any recommendations between getting it on PC or Vita?

How bad is it? Does it go under 30fps?Hold R1 to run.
Vita performance isn't great. PC and PS4 seem 60fps solid.
Some are requesting refunds over a theme, I'm just here impatiently waiting for Friday so I can buy this awesome game.
Download the game through your download list on the SEN web store. Worked for many people. Can anyone help? I purchased the game on PS4, but it won't let me download it. On the game's product page, the button says "Start" instead of Download, and when I click Start it just says it cannot find the game, adn asks if I want to look in the PlayStation Store. When I say yes, it just reloads the same product page. It's in my game library, but I still can't download it through there. In system settings, it's not listed in Application Data so I know it's not installed.
I'm not really sure what to do![]()
We need this in the OP:
Step 1:
Delete from your PS4
Step 2:
Go to store.playstation.com (or your regions equivalent)
Step 3:
Highlight over your name and press download list

Step 4:
Click on the PS4 version of Grim Fandango and press "download to your PS4"
Damn these puzzles are obtuse! I'm not above using a guide on some of these. I'm a working adult with limited gaming time, damnit!
The dig had a much more serious tone if thats what you mean, but thats not the issue. Im enjoying the humor. Im enjoying the game overall really. I just kept on hearing that this was one of lucas arts best... just not seeing that... yet![]()

On the phone with support and they keep telling me to wait for the store to complete updating regarding the theme.
I escalated to someone else. The store is updated is it not?

Never played this in my life or even heard of it.
Does everything actually hold up for a new player?
Heard about tank-controls, but I have no issues adjusting to something like that.
It's what, $15-$20? 12 hours to finish? Seems like good bang for your buck
