Just got an email from EB Games Canada saying the payment couldn't be processed for some reason on my online preorders for Megaman and Sonic. I have to call them in the morning to figure it out or else they will cancel my order in the next few weeks

My girlfriend has decided that her favorite is no longer Toad and is instead Shulk so it looks like when we go to a few of the local specialty shops I may be paying well above MSRP if they have one. Fingers crossed!
Edit: Where is that CISOR list at? If they let us pick up more than one Sunday I'll get two for kind hearted Gaffers that didn't manage to grab one.

That's why I set mine to in-store pickup. After preordering another Lucina and Robin last night I got the itch to get another Ike for some reason. Figured he's already gone everywhere here, went to the Amazons to find one for sale who will ship to NZ. Found it was cheaper to buy more than just one amiibo for the price of shipping.
Somehow I now have an order for Sheik (who I kinda had been getting the itch to buy), another Mega Man (cause who doesn't need 2?) and the commons I passed up so far (Link, Samus and Peach)
I'm gonna have to try the blowdryer trick on Link cause the only reason I didn't buy him in the first place is cause you couldn't see his face.

I hope so too. I went to my store by work and I saw boxes of Rosie, Toon Link, and Sheik, all street dated. He told me to come back right at 8:00 am and I have a good chance... I feel like I won't be the only one waiting.

Sunday's going to be interesting....I guess we're going to get a snowstorm in my area from Saturday evening through late morning Sunday. :O
Luckily my local Target is only ~2 minutes up the road and I have a JEEP so I should be okay, haha.

I don't think she's supposed to be out yet - Amazon has her dated for 2/3.
The Best Buy I got her at only had the one figure but they had a shelf-tag for her in the main DI section among all the other new-ish figures. *shrug*
They all seem to be 'salvage' items from Target - the packaging is open/damaged but the figures are fine (and I'm opening them anyway).
I found Venom & the crystal version of Mickey at my local store in the last month and found the 3 Marvel guys at a new Goodwill's grand opening this morning.
I also saw a Groot for $6.99 back in December but stupidly didn't buy him - d'oh! :S

Does anyone here have experience with buying off of scaplers on amazon? I feel like I'm just going to cave and get Shulk from amazon for whatever he is going for. Usually I wouldn't spend so much on something that is usually 12-13$ but I feel like I can write it off a little as part of Valentines Day.

Yeah I saw a Shulk in person, it was someone else's pre-order. Looked amazing and I'm really kicking myself for not pre-ordering. Not going to make the same mistake for Lucina and Robin and already locked them down. If Xenoblade X has amiibo functionality for Shulk I will be very sad.

Hi everyone, this is Blue Namagem, or just Namagem for short. This is my very first post on NeoGAF, after a year and a half of lurking, as well as a few weeks lurking the Amiibo OTs. I've seen lots of ups and downs throughout this amiibo hunt, and though I haven't said anything up until now, I wanted to thank you all for providing me with very valuable information, great pictures, and a sense of community I haven't seen almost anywhere else. It's truly something else, and I think it's fantastic, so I thought I'd finally jump into this!
Now, with my introduction out of the way, I come to you all seeking some help with a wild accomplishment I hope to achieve, and I hope I'm not out of line in asking. As you could probably tell by my avatar, I'm a big Mega Man fan, he's my only character in Smash, and I had a crazy thought today: wouldn't it be amazing to own an amiibo for each of his alternate outfits, based on different Robot Master powers??
How cool is that? Only thing is, I've only got 1 ordered from Best Buy, and I'm kicking myself for not thinking of this sooner and doing 7 more when they had the Buy 2 Get 1 Free glitch a couple months back. What I'm proposing in lieu of this is the possibility of anyone being able to obtain one or more for me, beyond the one I'm getting and maybe more if I can get them, in exchange for retail price + shipping. Even if it's Japanese or European, I don't mind, as they're gonna get custom painted regardless. I'm seeing preorders for Japanese ones going for close to $30 on ebay, and that's before the super expensive shipping, so that x7 is obviously way too much money, as I'm trying to pay as little inflated pricing as possible. I appreciate anyone reading this and look forward to seeing this amiibo thread continue into OT3. Glad to be here, and I hope somebody is willing to help me make this happen! So I was out Amiibo hunting today and one of the stores in my area still has the wind waker WiiU bundle. Is this a rare item now? I already have a WiiU but as someone who has just started getting into these new Nintendo consoles, I'm deciding if I have the cash to spare to add this to my collection. Is this a hard to find bundle now?

Mega Man 2 has the best palette swaps. I don't think there is a single one that isn't awesome. I wasn't really keen on custom painted ones but thinking about having a set of 9 with 8 of them being Mega Man 2 customs almost gets me drooling.
Also makes me want tons of costume DLC too

I was on the fence about Shulk so I didn't pre-order quickly and he was one of the first to go. I was thinking about just calling it quits after finishing the Kirby trio, especially after Rainbow Curse functionality was announced. But they pulled me back in. Not making that mistake again.

My Target Rosalina is at the post office and should be delivered tomorrow! Also going to hopefully get Lucario preorder from TRU tomorrow. Then Toon Link, Bowser, and Shiek from BB in store preorders on the first. For some reason I feel at least one thing is going to go wrong here.

Looks like Shulk is going to cost about 50 dollars from ebay if I watch carefully enough. Don't worry guys, the second I buy him he will become widely available at the exact same moment Nintendo of America announces wave 4 pre-orders are happening.

I would absolutely LOVE costume DLC for Mega Man, hoo man. And yep, I agree, MM2 did have some great colors. I've been researching custom paint jobs, and Mega Man is actually one of the easier jobs to do, because he's considered "Low Detail", mostly primary colors in large parts across the figure.Mega Man 2 has the best palette swaps.
