Just out of curiosity, how are we supposed to determine what an appropriate match length should be for a game that just came out two months ago? Stocks take longer in Smash 4 compared to Melee but I don't get why that's inherently viewed as a bad thing.

Every character is beatable. Every character has weaknesses. Just because a character has weaknesses doesn't mean they can't be overpowered. They don't need to and shouldn't outright say Diddy is overpowered, because that's not what commentators should do. But the constant excuses are just stupid.

Less about actual time being spent and more about the general pace of the match. If a lot of time is spent in the neutral game it's really boring, when players like DaBuz just roll and throw pikmin it's a snorefest because he just builds damage and then puts the match back into neutral.

M2K was playing too aggressive, but he clearly should have switched characters.

I hate rushdown sets, and I enjoyed Dabuz's set against Pac-Man since I've never seen that matchup. The only reason the Diddy mirror was fun was because the crowd decided to shit on it.
