Enemies have shields, so we will too I'm sure (hope).
That was utterly my logic.
You got most of the equipment from the humanoid enemies in Dark Souls.
There will be no shields

As such there's no shield in Bloodborne - instead, you're dual-wielding weapons that themselves have dual purposes.
