Haven't gotten my infamous Ike ema yet!

Also Amazon must have just got stock in they said March 2nd for all my stuff but now it's shippig don't lose hope
 
I preordered my Shulk and Ike in store so I haven't got an e-mail yet. I'm still pissed that my Mega Man got delayed by Amazon and my Meta Knight got cancelled by superubo. Rough day for my Amiibo collecting

Nowhere in NA is really a "safe" place to order from.

My GS said some dates were now showing up for 2/14 instead of 2/13 so who knows at this point.

Ouch, man. Hope it was Little Mac, 'cause that hurts almost as much as when I got my imported Marth from Italy with its own shipping for around $40...right before they announced the reprint for Codename Steam. Great.

Actually it was Wii Fit Trainer, but only $25 from Amazon.uk

For those posting about getting delay e-mails, can you be more specific about the circumstances of your orders? Maybe we can all figure out who is affected and who isn't.
 
Man everyone's Gamestop order is getting screwed but mine, I might need to do a walk in tomorrow when I give plasma. (Couldn't today because my temperature was .5 too low >:(
)
 
Just thought I'd throw this out there for you guys getting backordered e-mails from Gamestop, but you can get Ike and Sheik for about $13 each on Amazon UK. Shipping to the US is about $11 so expect to pay about $38 total.
 
Has anybody who has gotten the Ike email from GS been someone who was shipping to the store, or just ship to home?

I shipped to the store and have it all paid off and haven't gotten an email...yet. (hopefully).
 
So here's what we can gather from the GS delays:

People who ordered ship to home - Delayed

People who ordered ship to store - 50/50

People who preordered in store - Safe
 
Ship to home guys looks like they're all getting affected.

Anyone who preordered in store for in store pick up, have you gotten a call or email yet about a delay?
I preordered my second half guys at GS, so I'm just curious.
 
Hey guys, dumb question, but I'm very out of the loop with Amiibo. What's the best way to get the fire emblem ones? Are preorders no longer available for the ones that aren't out yet? And what about the additional shipments for Ike and Marth? Are those gone too? Id really like to get them.
 
So here's a rough stab at the priority chart for fulfilling preorders in the US.

ToysRUs
Instore Preorder > Online Preorder > Ebay

Gamestop
Instore Order pick up at Store > Online order pick up at store > Online order ship to home

Marth reprint hasn't happened yet, Ike is gone for now. Lucina and Robin haven't went up in US

out of all the Amiibos why do you want the hardest to get lol!?

  • Marth is hard to get, if you can at all - he's having a reprint anytime soon however.
  • Ike - Coming out on 02/13 as part of Wave 3B.
  • Robin Coming out with Wave 4
  • Lucina: Coming out with Wave 4
 
For those who did ship to store on their Shulks and have Closed as status. I just noticed mine says Ordered 1 and Shipped 0. What do you guys have? I was trying to remember what happened with my other ship to store preorders with Gamestop, but there I had ordered multiples and I think it basically stayed opened until the last one "shipped." I guess if these come out the 13th, I hopefully get a call from Gamestop like I did with my other orders.
 
I stopped by Meijer today and the tag and price for Ike was there but none of wave 3 was. I'm guessing no one has seen him in store in the US yet? I'm gonna check there again in a day or two.

Code Name Steam gives them the most functionality out of current amiibo's aside from the Links.

Even my Bowser says Ordered 1 and Shipped 0.
 
Yeah, so all my GS 'bos are delayed.

But I can't access my order history! I can't view the open order. They gave me my order number but it keeps coming up "Ooops! Game Over." error screen. Is anyone else experiencing this issue when looking up their order?
 
My French Rosalina showed up yesterday; expecting Sheik, Bowser, and Toon Link tomorrow from Amazon. Amazon emailed me yesterday about Mega Man being delayed and they're working on it but I need to approve that I'll wait for it and not cancel the order. Sonic, Ike, Meta, and Dedede are still under payment validated at Best Buy but no movement on them yet. Toys R Us still hasn't sent out my Lucario. GameStop is a pick up in store for Shulk so I should be good there.

Geebus that's a lot to keep track of.

Marth is gone forever. No items. Final Destination.
just kidding. Right now, he's impossible to find at retail. Your best bet would be to import from another country like Japan or Germany.

Ike preorders have been done for a little while now, and unfortunately, it would appear that Gamestop and Target at least might not actually have any available for people to walk in and purchase. Walmart (HAHAHAHA) and TRU still seem likely to have some. Walmart is *supposed* to have Ike in on the 20th, with TRU having them in on the 13th.

Lucina and Robin I don't believe have gone live anywhere for preorders yet.
Marth is supposed to get a reprint later this year. It comes out in March of this year, May in other territories, so I would figure they'd want to have Marth out close to that day. Perhaps for Easter, or early Summer (like June)
 
So far I haven't had much REAL trouble getting the full set. Wave 1 and 2 preorders were easy with plenty of time. Some Best Buy screw ups caused me to pick up Marth, Villager, and WFT at Target that day. Wave 2 was cake, just had to replace my Little Mac because he arrived broken into pieces. Wave 3a wasn't as bad as I expected. BB shipped my amiibos with no protection in the box, but everything was magically undamaged (I expected Sheik to be destroyed somehow). Rosalina was surprisingly easy to get. Meta Knight and Shulk I preordered early on. Lucario was the only scare because of the preorder cancellations, but I had perfect timing on preordering in store.

But now Wave 4 is going to happen during the highest peak of interest, while scalpers and resellers are at there highest attention. Previous preorders lasted days, weeks, months.

This wave scares me.

I can still view mine just fine, both show as Open.

Wonder if this is some sort of clerical issue like the Amazon emails - we've passed a due date threshold and they're required to send a delay email?

Edit: and yeah, wave 4 is going to be a bloodbath.
